This knife take a beating and is very sharp!
This knife is a very good EDC knife. It is an incredible value. It is light, but durable and very sharp out of the package. The size is really good for everyday tasks and I even use it as my first grab knife for camping and it takes the beating! The blade shape makes it good at piercing and slicing and the size makes it very easy to operate.

BEST 'WINGED DAGGER' CLONE! Tight construction, razor sharp, Great sheath! AllPros NoCons!
Ive been looking for a SAS "Winged Dagger" clone for a reasonable; ive bought about a dozen so far, and THIS KNIFE is the most solid construction sand most practical and well designed knife/sheath for under$50! Its the Perfect length, its Razor sharp, it has a Great sheath that isnt just thick canvas that only goes on a belt! This has an almost canceledcarry pistol type holster!!? The canvas ones Reallly would need a strap and the end to tye to your leg so the knife comes out and sheath stay put! This is a clean, Solid, Tight, Sharp, Strong, ergonomic, and is the only knife i carry on me daily!! I cant believe it was this cheap!

One of the best knives at this price point
I have read many reviews on knives the week prior to purchasing this one and I was looking for a straight blade, preferably double edged, and of good construction. While reading reviews about this product I feel that some points are in order to pay attention to (I believe this applies to all weapons) >>>>>Know your weapon's unique attributes that may affect stowage, usage, and execution/initialization/draw. Know how the weapon should be stowed, used, initialized, and maintained. That aside, lets continue... Stowage: You need to know proper stowage for recommended and your physical variables. While where you can clip this, mount this, and/or conceal this varies on your local laws, please check them first. The clip is nice and strong of good quality/size to mount to a molle system, pants that have the hardened / reinforced edge for say flashlight on your thigh or lower calf it fits, and also for some pants horizontally in the back belt loops. The knife also fits well on some shoulder holsters and various other storage solutions. The sheath has 2 splits at the top and the blade will sometimes want to got on the side where the clip is instead of its intended spot because the top of the sheath splits open for the clip and the other side is molded to the blade...again be familiar with your weapon. Holstering your knife you can prevent it from going into the wrong part of the sheath by keeping your index finger on the flat side of the blade as this is done, for a while I used one of those inserts shoved into the clip side from a shoulder holster as a guide to familiarize myself with stowing the knife while it is not in view...again familiarity with your weapon. Usage: This is a double edged blade and remember that. Forgetting that this knife is double edged while you cut things at your campsite and decide to use your hand to push down on it, is not a manufacturer/seller issue. Also it was not designed as something to pry things open and other things it was not designed for. It cuts things well, and stays sharp well. I use a rod sharpener that came with my other knives and works very well. Failure to wield/use the knife properly is not a manufacturer or seller issue. Execution/Draw/Initialization: Again this is a double edged knife, understand this is handled very differently than single edged knives. This knife pulls out of its scabbard easily with the thumb restraint in a very intuitive place for both vertical and horizontal draw in and out of field of view. Again familiarize yourself with how this knife is drawn and sheathed so you don't cut your yourself or clothing. Overall extremely happy with quality, weight, size, durability, and ergonomics of this product.

Has a nice sheath for a knife at this price.
Worth $20, not much more. Itโs a boot knife and has a rigid leather sheath with a clip. Itโs ment for defense. If youโre looking for a better quality knife about the same size with a single edge I recommend the large BuckLite. Itโs a drop point, has a more robust blade with a good heat treat. Itโs the same steel buck uses in most of their blades. The handle is much better than the S&W, and the blade has some jimping on it. The only drawback with it is that it has a nylon sheath. I guess thatโs how they save money on the knife. It cost around $33, so a little bit more but worth it.

Great knife
Great little knife. Very happy with it. Price is amazing. Would make a great gift. I did sharpen it to my liking, but it does have a decent edge when received. The handle is a little small, but very usable.

My Favorite Knife
LOVE this knife. I've been a collector and user of knives since I was little and this has been my main standby for years. bought my first HRT around 2012 and since then I've bought them as gifts for friends and family in military and just for everyday life. retains the edge, no rusting/corrosion for years, if you know how to you can make it RAZOR sharp (I mean you can shave your face with it). i recommend this knife to anyone who asks about my favorites. also, the sheath is all leather, super durable, with an easy button release that's secure and never failed me. 10/10 can't say enough about this knife, I love it.

Great for concealed it on duty.
Great quality, feels just the right size to have it concealed in a vest or ankle while on duty. Nice good quality leather holster. The blade thickness just right, have a good quality for a cheap price.

High quality knife.
I purchased this to be a weakside, in waste band (IWB) knife. The quality is top notch and is exactly what I would expect from S&W. It didn't come all that sharp, so I spent about 30min sharpening both sides of the blade to a fine razor edge/needle point. This knife holds an edge really well, I have used it a lot for different cutting tasks, and it is still razor sharp. It comes with a good quality leather sheath with a retention snap that snaps over one side of the hilt. There is also a spring clip on the sheath which is quite strong. I actually put the clip on my pants, then put my belt over the clip which hides it well. Drawing took some getting used to, but after about two hours of practice I am proficient and comfortable with the draw and defeating the retention snap quickly. Re-sheathing the knife can be difficult as the sheath colapses when you have it IWB. I carry this at 7 o'clock on my waste band, so I cannot look at the sheath when putting the knife back in, and reaching it with the other hand to hold it open is also awkward. The easiest for me is just to take the sheath out, put the knife back in and then put it back where it needs to go. In a SHTF situation, I wouldn't be worrying about re-sheathing it anyway so its not that big of a deal to me. Eventually I will probably get a sheet of kydex and make my own rigid sheath to make re-sheathing easier. But the leather sheath is quite nice, and works well for carrying the knife comfortably. The handle is a nice rubber material that is easy to grip, even when wet or with gloves on. The handle is solid and this is a full tang knife, so this knife is very strong. The whole blade is quite rigid, to include the tip. There is a lanyard hole at the bottom of the handle where you could put a paracord fob or even a wrist strap. This knife is very well balanced and can be thrown effectively as well if needed. I have thrown this knife, accurately at about 15'. The balance point is just below the hilt for those that are looking for that information. The one things to watch out for with this knife is that it is a double edge weapon, which can make it illegal is some area's. I would highly suggest that you do some research of the knife laws in your area before buying this knife. The other things to look at is that it is designed to be concealed, which can also be illegal in some places. Doing 30min of research now can save you a lot of headache later on down the road. Great knife for a great price. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone looking for a fixed bladed boot knife.
