Battery Replacement Kit with Battery, Instructions and Tools for Samsung GALAXY Note PRO 12.2

The con first: - the screw holes don't add up perfectly, but with a little patience and force all the crews go back in The pros: - the package brings all the tools you'll need - there is an instruction disk, but you can also find the video online (on their website) easily - the instruction video is great - whole replacement takes about 10-15 minutes (3-5 minutes once you know how) As far as the installation, there are two thin strips (one from the charging port, one to power the rest of the tablet). Make sure they are lined up properly. I almost returned the battery because the first go-around wasn't working (new battery wasn't charging and tablet would not power up - would start, then crash). I tried putting the old battery back in, and it was doing the same thing. I noticed there was a specific placement for the strip coming from the charging port, seated it correctly, and made note of the proper placement. Once it powered up (with old battery), I replaced the battery with the new one again, making this time sure everything was properly seated. New battery worked perfectly, and is charging up just fine.

Installation was straight forward. The only issue was that the rear battery clip did not line up with the Samsung Note 12.2 clip positions. Photo 1 shows the misalignment in the rear position and photo 2 shows a secure fit in the front. It made it a bit snug but I don't believe this was the cause of the real issue. Once the battery was in I turned the unit on and it showed a 60% charge. I turned the unit off and let it charge to 100%. It came on fine, no screen flicker and worked perfectly for 4 or so hours. When the unit said it was at a 25% charge I pluged it in and left it overnight. In the morning it was totally dead. The battery icon came on screen once and showed a 1% charge, it went out and there is no life now at all.

Instructions and tools were included, and easy to follow. Took about 10 minutes to swap out battery and charging cable (separate purchase) Only downside is the mounting holes didn’t quite line up (1-2 mm off) as stated in other reviews, but the plastic mounting tabs can be slightly re-aligned to get it screwed down. Would have been nice to include replacement mounting screws as the size makes them easy to lose. First full charge lasted 8 days on battery with moderate use. Charged back up overnight. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but definitely worth the investment.

It arrived promptly. Easy to install. It's working great . Excellent price.

if you are not sure about ordering this just do it. I received my battery and attempted to install it, but was struggling to get the holes to line up and in that struggle the battery connector solder joint came loose, so I imitated a return thru amazon, The company contacted me immediately and asked if I would like to try another battery, which I agreed to. I was promptly sent another battery and told not to bother sending the first one back. The second install went without a hitch and my tablet works perfectly now. I would suggest after watching the installation video that you connect the center battery connection first and work from the center top to line up the mounting holes, putting the screws back in as you go, that way you are not forcing the plug around because the solder connections are fragile. Also make sure you line up the ribbon cables in the ZIF connections properly. Make sure to insert them to the white lines. line up the lines on the cable with the line on the motherboard. once connected test the tablet and charger to make sure everything is working properly before reinstalling the back. I had to take the back off again to reinsert the battery charger cable because it was slightly out of line Note: 4 moths later. Initial battery life was good, however after 4 months my battery life is worse than the OEM battery I took out. I'm getting about 2 to 3 hours of easy use no intensive streaming. I will be contacting the seller to see what they will do, this is supposed to have a 1 year warranty. I will update

Installed on 9/24/2019 in a SAMSUNG-SM-P905V purchased in 2016. I replaced the orginal battery in 2017 mostly due to a lose charging port and some charging quarks for about $150.00 and several days waite. This battery and the charging port were half the price. I chose New Power 99 at a higher cost and expected higher quality. The batter charges much faster than the orginal or the second one. The installationwas well instructed with provided tools with two exceptions. First the opening of the cable clamps was not clear. To release the two flat cables the dark green or black strip in front of three white connector needs to be lifted up and away from the battery. Getting it to do this is a bit scary foe the first time, the second one was easy. The second problem was installing the battery in its gold down position. The last four screw holes were not alligned two were squeezed in two had to be left out. over all I am very pleased, didn't return it since it work great. I suggest the screw holes be made oblong and instructing that the screws be installed first in the corners then add one to each side twards the middle and lace them lose to allow the battery to snug in. Then after all screws are in, they can be tightened. I would purchase this product again, very pleased and saved $75.

My Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 began having problems a couple of years ago. The main issues were screen flickering and random re-starts. I noticed the battery life was not very good either. After a few minutes being on and in use, the percentage would drop significantly. I looked online and the symptoms my tablet was having seemed consistent with battery problems. I finally made the decision to bite the bullet and get this battery. It arrived quickly and the installation was not all that difficult and I consider myself to be somewhat tech savvy but not an expert. Now, it's as if I have a brand new tablet. No more flickering. Battery life is great. I highly recommend this for those experiencing the same problems I was having with my tablet.

This product is a cheap knockoff that doesnt even fit properly: as other folks have stated, the holes dont align, the battery itself is not fitting (off-center: too short on one side, too long on the other), and on top of that, the connector is brittle and the connector wire is too long, requiring a fold that crushes the wire itself... Not sure what engineering team developed this product, but to not even be able to measure and size the original that you're trying to copy is quite concerning... Returning this junk asap, what a waste of time.

Einbau hat gut geklappt! Die Anleitung mit Video ist gut gemacht und selbst für einen Laien gut durchzuführen... Nur bei öffnen musste ich vorsichtig herumporbieren und hab den Ansatz am Kopfhöreranschluss gefunden um es zu öffnen. Gerät läuft wieder wie neu und bisher keine Probleme...!

Following the instructions I Installed the battery in 15 minutes. As the battery was partly charged I could power up immediately, Everything seemed to be there so powered off and put it on charge overnight. The tablet as worked like a dream since, a lot more responsive. Really pleased with the result.
