HOA doesn't like my newly placed Red mulch. I dont want to have to remove and replace. Will this work to change the color of my new Red Mulch?

It will definitely darken it up- I would get the black to help cover the red shade. I would tell the HOA to pound sand. I would buy a small container to see how it works for your application.

Did this permanently dye your sprayer?

Yes it did leave the sprayer looking "dirty" on the inside due to the dye being so dark. We bought a separate sprayer just for this product for that reason.

Can I use this on long needle pine straw?

You could try it, but I done know if it will soak into the pine needles. The EnviroColor stuff is like a latex stain {Suspended pigments} so you need a garden sprayer to apply. I tried an off the shelf applicator I had to spray for weeds, but that plugged . You need something with adjustable nossle that you can unscrew and clean out if it plugs. It seems like you could color the pine straw, you might have to move it around a bit to get the coverage you want.

Once the seal is broken on the product, approximately how long does the product last for? Wondering if I will get two seasons out of it.

I am going on my third season. A little goes a LONG way.
