These pads were budget priced compared to other name brands. They are of high enough quality to protect your wrists, elbows, and knees from injury during a hard fall. They are definitely not of the highest quality (the name brands are more expensive because they are more durable and longer lasting; some, like the Triple 8 knee pads have replaceable shells over the pads.) As a middle-aged, first-time skateboarder, these gave me confidence to keep practicing after my falls. Every time I fell while wearing them, I was unharmed and able to get right back on the board. The pads stay in place and are adjustable to keep them secure without being to tight. I was surprised to find that they didn’t inhibit my movements at all; I mostly forgot I was wearing them until I fell. And then I was very grateful to have avoided injury. If budget is a concern, buy these. If you have plenty of money to invest, go for the more durable Triple 8’s. But these have worked just fine for me. I am 100lbs and 5’ 1” and bought the adult size. They also fit my boyfriend who is 5’ 11” and about 150lbs. I’ll be buying him a set too. Good value for the price. Good fit for a range of body sizes. Stable and secure, no mobility restriction. Buy ‘em and get out there and do all the stuff that you are afraid of!

Bought these because I got a new skateboard. Fits me perfectly. They feel very well made. Have only used them once, but I love the fact they come in a bag to keep them together as well.

Bought these adult-sized pads and a helmet to learn skateboarding (over 40, but better late than never) with my kids. Both the elbow and knee pads come with velcro straps on the top and bottom, so you can attach them to yourself that way (not recommended, but works) , or you can slide them on and then use the straps for a more secure fit (which I did and recommend). I'm more on the skinnier side of a medium build, so it was a little surprising that sliding the knee pads on was a little tight (not blood restricting), so something to consider how thick your arms and legs are. The wrist pads for nicely with 3 Velcro straps. There is some decent cushion between the hard plastic shells of the pads and your knees/elbows that will definitely absorb an impact with the ground. The wrist pads saved my right wrist during my first big fall. Still learning to fall, I put my right hand down to catch myself, and the hard plastic piece of the wristpad took the impact, instead of my wrist. Worth it in my opinion, and would recommend to anyone looking for great protection and value.

I went to a skate park trying to use for the second time my skates. For the beginning I barely kept my equliibrium but soon, I started doing some maneuvres and even got some speed. All those came with a cost: falls - many of them. I guess, it only was necessary one or two falls to take me out of there. With these pads I honestly felt about nothing. Every time I "picked up" myself, stood up immediately and continued my fun. It might sound like a cliche but, I'm grateful for having this protection. I ran for hours and got vissible progess. Meantime, a lot of people came and I noticed few of them falling. After that, their journey stoped. One guy used a skate board for a few minutes and took a hit. It must been so painful that he barely stood up making efforts not to scream from time to time. He tried to calm himself down by walking slowly outside the skate arena but after 15-20 he definitely left. That was for him: about 5 minutes skating and more than 15 minutes pain. Of course, nobody was wearing anything else than a helmet. The conclusion is a simple one: unless someone has the joints stronger than concrete, h/she must wear not only the helmet but the knees pads. And these pads are very good: they are fitting very well, are very comfortable and they don't move or loose. They are not only invaluable for joints protection but they have a more than decent price (about $23; lowered from $60). One more thing: I do my review (s) based on my own conviction without any incentives or contact from the producer, seller or Amazon. I spend out my free time because I realize how much means a product review before buying something.

I bought these for my teenager who does a lot of extreme sports, including skateboarding, bmx and scooter tricks. He kept coming home all banged up and although I realize that a scratch here and there isn't a big deal I was concerned that the way he was falling was going to lead to some broken bones. I bought this pack of protective gear and it was exactly what I was looking for, not only does it include the standard knee and elbow pads that you would expect but it came with a third component, the hand guards. That is what really set this pack apart for me, all of the gear is high quality, durable and comfortable but the hand guards help support his wrists and keep his palms from getting cut up. The best part is that with all the gear included in this pack on my teen, he is still able to move freely and do all of the activities he enjoys without any issues.

Great knee pads. They stretched really well for an adult. I was able to be very mobile in them. They are very thick. The support for bones was great. I was able to wear with no issues.

Great price for all three items and they are well made. All 3 items have rounded surfaces which allow you to slide if you fall to lessen the impact. Strong and abundant velcro. The only drawback is one size only for adults. I am 5' 5" (female), 150 LBS. The knee guards are a bit roomy in the cup but work well. They have strong elastic that goes all around your knee as well as 2 velcro straps. The top of the knee pad hits 3" above my knee where my leg is 16" around and it's pretty tight. Any tighter and I would want to return. The elbow and wrist guards fit just fine. I got the all black because it goes with everything.

I’m an avid cyclist. A few weeks ago, a car ran a stop sign and knocked me out of a pedestrian crosswalk. I had 5 broken bones and am still dealing with a lot of pain. It’s going to be a long recovery, but I’m still luckier than I might have been. This set of knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist braces, along with my bike helmet, undoubtedly saved me from additional serious injuries. Inspection of this protective gear after the accident revealed deep gashes in the plastic on each of the elbow and knee guards. It’s hard to believe that these hard impacts wouldn’t have resulted in additional broken limbs if I hadn’t been protected-- at the very least, these gouged spots where the guards struck asphalt would have resulted in a lot of missing skin. The protective metal bars on both wrist braces were each bent completely flat from the impact of landing on hard pavement— there’s no way that my wrists would have withstood the impact which bent these metal bars. I have zero doubt that I’d have a cast on both wrists today if I hadn’t been wearing this gear when I was struck. I’m thankful. As bad as my injuries are, things could have been much, much worse. You can’t count on motorists to be safe around you— it’s up to cyclists to follow the rules of the road, avoid traffic wherever possible, and take whatever steps we can take to protect ourselves. Quality safety gear like this can make a huge difference when something happens and you don’t have time to react. I'm incredibly thankful to have been wearing this protective gear at the time of my accident.

Cool design and robust

Habe sie mir zum Inlinescaten besorgt. Was soll ich sagen? Bin schon mehrere Male gestürzt ohne das ich mir die Hände oder Knie aufgeschürft habe. Das Hartplastik an den Handschützern ist Gold wert! Sind schon ordentlich zerkratzt aber die Haut blieb immer heile. Ich ziehe die Schützer immer über Jacke und Hose nur mit den Klettverschlüssen fest - die elastischen Überzieher sind mir zu eng (Kindergröße) aber es hält trotzdem alles prima. Insgesamt äußerst zu frieden!

great large size skate pads that were perfect for me to go rollerblading and feel safe. i recommend that everyone finds pads and even a helmet if going outside to prevent injury. they are comfortable to wear and look cool i think!
