Battery lasts a long time!
I have so many different earbuds but I find myself returning to the single earbuds again and again, bc I like to be able to hear what's going on around me while listening to something. I'm fortunate that I can listen to stuff at work most of the time, but I also need to be able to quickly turn off whatever I'm listening to when someone is speaking to me, and I find that the double ear buds (even with "ambient sound" on) make that difficult. I bought this earbud after the one I had been using finally died after like 4 years of pretty much continuous use. I wasn't able to find the brand I had before, so I tried this one. The battery life is AMAZING. I usually put the earbud in at between 7 and 8 am and listen (on and off) to something for the whole day, into the late evening. I have not yet run out of battery on the first day - in fact, most of the time, the earbud is still at like 70% battery even after listening to it all day! I can use it for 2 days in a row without charging most of the time! It fits snugly in my ear and comes with several different tips so you can find the right one for you. Pairing is pretty easy and the on/off button is large so it's easy to press when I need to quickly turn it off. I don't love the micro USB charging, my last earbud had a magnetic base to charge on that I liked better, but it's okay, and the cap to the port tucks away nicely. Sound quality is fine, I mostly listen to podcasts/news so I'm not looking for a fantastic sound experience. If I'm listening to music, I go with the double earbuds anyway. It works well for phone calls, I haven't had anyone complain that they can't hear me clearly when using it for phone calls. All in all, it's a great single ear option if that's what you're looking for. EDIT 6 MONTHS LATER: My ear bud has died suddenly... It had a period of about a week where pressing the on button did nothing, but if I plugged it into the USB port briefly, it would come on, but now it's just dead... I don't think I overcharged it, I tried to let it get down to 10-15% before charging (or let it die completely - which as I said in my first review, would often take 2 days.) Not entirely sure what's happened with it... Up until it died, I really loved it, used it every day. I know I'm past the return window, but perhaps the company has some suggestions? Will try to contact them.

LOOOONG battery charge, good sound, easy set-up
I LOVE these! I've paid a lot more for earbuds and just don't use them after getting these. I've bought several of these. I like to use single earbuds instead of pairs so I can listen to books or videos and still have full access to the ambient sounds around me. Volume is GREAT - I can hear my content while vacuuming! I also listen to music. I don't have a particular need for the perfect music sound; I'm a musician. The notes matter more to me. I don't expect the sound of a perfect concert or studio performance with perfect timbre from these earbuds. I'm here for the notes - for the counterpoint, the harmonies. So these are perfect for my needs. I like to play soothing sounds overnight for sleep, so the batteries are important to me. These last a shocking amount of time. Maybe 12-18 hours? I'm not sure - but it's a very, very long time. I get up in the morning and keep listening for hours. I should pay attention to the time. Because they are so cheap, it's not a catastrophe if you lose one. I have lots of different earbuds - these are the ones I use all the time.

10 hours of play time is accurate
this ear bud really does last at least 10 hours. It doesn’t nest as cleanly in the ear as smaller versions, but then size begets capacity. The flexible cover for the USB charge port was extremely difficult to re-seat after charging — it kept popping back out, so you really had to force it in place with a thumbnail. I finally just tore it off. I’m hoping this thing lasts a good long time because frankly a lot of the cheap commodity electronics / adaptors etc., that I order from Amazon are mostly junk that only last a few months. So far, this earbud is impressive. Aug 2022 update: I had to buy a replacement not because of a defect, but somehow I managed to bend the pins inside the charging socket. The newer one has some notable differences: voice prompts are a different and more refined voice; charging still is indicated by a red light, but the blue light that indicated a full charge is now gone - replaced with nothing (light off). Decent sound quality is the same and sometimes, adjusting the volume all the way down from your device does not silence the audio completely and it still seems to last AT LEAST 10 hours on a charge which is very impressive. Bluetooth connection notification is now voice instead of a beep, and connections are more competent: when you’re paired with more than one device, switching from one device to the other is cleaner, with no more audio overlap or cutout. Sep 2024 update: just in the past week, battery life dropped significantly from about 11-12 hours to less than 8. This is a problem for my application so a new one is on order. Two years may be the cutoff for this product with regard to battery life. Oct 2024 update: the unit will not charge sufficiently anymore, so it looks like 2 years was its maximum life. Just ordered a replacement. The $14 every 2 years won’t break the bank, but it’s still disappointing

Doesn't Last
Lasted about 6 months. Still charges and I assume turns off and on, but no sound on the speaker. Doesn't tell you it turns on or off via speaker anymore, but the light still turns on. Charged it multiple times all from different usb ports on a pc. It lights up when charging and turns off after, still nothing.

Durable and excellent!
This is the best product I’ve bought all year! I use it all the time. I’m an Uber driver. I wanted to get an earpiece I could wear so I could continue to listen to my podcasts when passengers get in who either don’t want to hear the radio or want to talk amongst themselves. I just turn the car radio off and put this in. I can turn it on and resume whatever I was just playing by pressing the button on the earpiece. Then, I can hear what I want without disturbing those around me, and I can still hear anything I need to through my other ear. And I can easily pause whatever I’m hearing with another press of the button. Regarding the durability of this earpiece - I thought I had lost it about a month ago, but then I found it broken open in the parking lot of my apartment. I had dropped it there earlier that day and I believe it had been run over by a car. It had popped open, the battery was hanging out, the outside was scratched and the rubber piece that covers the charging port was missing. I snapped it back together and it worked as good as new. Still works great, and holds a charge for a good long time. This earpiece is worth every penny!

Was a 10 Now a 3...
This earpiece was a great buy, until it wasn't. I used it primarily for work, in order to enjoy podcasts and audiobooks while I work in the office. This was definitely one of my favorite ear pieces for awhile. The sound was clear, precise, and had a nice quality where the sound coming through wasn't tinny or like an echo. Everything was working perfectly this morning... As per usual, I put my Earpiece back on the charger when I went for lunch. Usually, it has a little more juice, and I don't have to lose any power as I finish out my day. Not today, however... When I came back and popped in my earpiece, it wouldn't come on. It still pairs with my phone, but no sound comes out. It also got really hot. I put it on my desk top and played the device to see if it would kick on-- but Nothing but more heat. I'm afraid to even try it in my ear, because its hot and feels like its going to explode. So, looks like its back to the drawing board for trying to find a bluetooth device that I won't have to replace so often. It seems like these things have less than a solid year in them (at least the "good ones") before you have to replace them. I bought this June 30, 2020-- Which means I got in in early July. By February 2020 its kaput. So it lasted a solid 7 months. Its a shame. Capitalism, I guess...

very good
Just what I was looking for on my iphone16. I'm not very tech savy but it was really easy to pair to my phone. Had to adjust my volume up a little in settings to get a clearer sound. Also the red and blue light is very small and hard to see.

My new abbreviated user manual
Now that I've figured out how to use this, I love it, and I'm getting a second one as a backup. For years, for doing EMS Medical Command from my phone, I've been using a Sennheiser Presence earbud that (a) is no longer available, (b) kept falling out of my ear, and (c) I couldn't even get a new flexible earpiece for it. This works great. However, the manual was obviously written by an engineer based on the implementation model and not the user's mental model. (Not a problem with translation from Chinese to English, a problem with lack of knowledge of technical writing). Here is my abbreviated user manual which is all I need to know: NVAHVA Earbud Essentials Pairing: press button for 5 seconds until alternating blue-red blnking > Pair with J18 (seemed to work when I put phone in pairing mode FIRST before long-pressing earbud button) Answer call: short click Refuse call: hold button 1.5 seconds Hang up: short click Power off so doesn't connect to Bluetooth: long press > beep > continue holding "Power off" (very quietly) Power on so DOES connect to Bluetooth: long-press until hear "Power on" (very quietl) Playing music: above works and pauses music Playing music: single-click pauses and restarts

Difficult to connect the charge cable but amazing battery life
Really like this unit for listening to my podcasts, but its painful to get the charge cable in, due to the positioning of the charge port cover. Having said that one charge last a very long time. Sound quality (for podcasts) is well above expectations for the price.

Muy buena calidad para el precio
Muy buena calidad para el precio, el sonido es muy nítido y son muy ligeros, el tamaño “No es pequeño” es de tamaño normal, pero para el precio que tienen la verdad pues si convienen
