Took a chance on these. The contacts within 2 of the 1st pots I soldiered didn't make good contact and would short out when rotated. If you lightly pushed on the shaft you could get it to make contact, but unusable and unreliable. A 3rd one crushed on me when I attempted to test with slightly more pressure. The fourth one I soldered in seems to work, but I don't trust it and will probably replace when I purchase some better quality ones. The knobs were nice and fit snugly on the shaft.

Arrived just as described. Knobs are very light weight.Unfortunately can't say anything about performance because I ordered the wrong ohm. But will keep them anyway.

Works great for breadboard/experimentation (5-star from that standpoint) and at a great price point. However, the rotary is threaded but does not include matching nuts to support mounting to a faceplate. Needed to purchase different potentiometer to support face plate mounting for application I was working with.

They simply work, I used these for a modified volume control on a rc controller.

Do you like to install things and then have to take apart what you built? Then , you will love these! These are absolute garbage . They can’t even handle 5 V connected to an Arduino Uno . Some of them fail instantly ...some of them fail within a few days and I am down to only two of the 10 that are still working and one of them is starting to get erratic and I would not recommend these to anyone , for anything . Added bonus: the nuts that were included in the package don’t fit the threads . I contacted the seller and complained about that immediately upon opening the package and the seller said they would send the proper nuts and they never sent the proper nuts .

Four of the units burned out within minutes of installing. I verified that it was the unit defecting because I have had no problems with the others.
