Can this be used on wood

Someone else answered “this paint is designed for metal”, but as an industrial painter, I would argue that this paint would bond amazingly well to wood. The porous nature of wood along with the thick and textured nature of this paint would create a very good mechanical bond when applied. Obviously some woods are more porous than others, so it may adhere to a soft wood like pine much better than a very dense wood like teak. Porosity aside, if you sand the wood very well with coarse sandpaper like 80 grit, you would still achieve an excellent bond. I would not use any sort of primer on the wood prior to application, however, don’t be surprised if the wood soaks up some the initial first coat. Cheers

Weird application, but anyone used this on high density foam board?

You can but you must first paint the foam with latex paint.

Where can I buy truck bed grit ?

When you are using Rust-O-leum truck bed liner, roll on type, you can actually use sand to mix with it, but be very careful not to add to much, it will also lessen the coverage area.
