Melody Chaser Pet Bird Interactive Cat Toy Plush Toys for Dogs and Cats (Bird)

My cat absolutely loves this toy. I bought this some time last year and over the months this has been one of her favourite toys. We keep all her toys in a toy box and she fetches out what she wants and she gets out this one all the time even over the strong catnip toys. Especially at night! She loves to fling it around, it makes a lot of noise, she carries it around in her mouth a lot like prey or a baby. She’s even taken it outside in the garden with her and it’s been left out and got soaked in the rain. Then I’ve washed it in the washing machine and amazingly the tweeting still works as good as ever. I’ve even recommended it to friends who’ve bought one. I’m even thinking of buying another as it’s looking fairly battered now after nearly a year of use. No tail left, holes in its cheeks! Poor thing.

Edit: My cat is on her third mouse (they are like socks in the tumble dryer and just disappear). She loves them the minute they are out of the packet. I don't know what it is she loves so much compared to other mouse toys. She carries it in her mouth, sleeps with it next to her, plays fetch with it. My kitten just loves this. Me not so at 4am in the morning when it's being tossed round my bedroom and chirping away. It's thick and durable. I thought it was a bit expensive when I was first browsing. You can buy a bag of cheaply made toys for the same price but it's definitely worth the money. She hasn't stopped playing with it for a month. I've just ordered her the bird version. You can hear the sound on the video attached. Update: She now has the mouse, bird and parrot. The parrot she isn't fussed on. I think because it's bigger she can't carry it around so easily or chuck it in the air. It's sturdy though and survived being dropped in a full water bowl. The bird, she pulled the feathers off within a day but other than that, it's a good toy and well played with. The mouse is still firmly the favourite.

This bird seems pretty realistic and makes 2-3 different bird sounds. My cat loves birds and lost his old toy so I bought this for him. Went absolutely crazy as soon as I opened it for him. What I will say is that my cat began thinking the bird toy was a bit too real and started growling at me with the toy in his mouth so I would be a bit mindful of that. The tail feathers of the bird can be easily bitten off because I found some pieces laying on the floor so I cut the rest of the tail feathers off just in case my cat might ingest it. And I supervise my cat whilst he plays with it as in his case he thinks its a real bird and starts acting a little crazy. But overall good realistic toy with nice bird sounds.

I've got 3 cats and none had any interest whatsoever. On the plus side, they are well made and feel like a baby bird.

For some reason, and probably because of the price, I assumed this mouse would do more than make a few warbling noises. I also thought it may be battery operated / replaceable but there is just a pull out cord. I agree this is completely my fault for not reading up on this before the purchase but it is not my fault that within 5 minutes of removing the tag and trying to get my cats to acknowledge it completely stopped making any noise. I cannot comment on durability or sturdiness as my cats are not interested. I can be positive and confirm it is a nice soft material, my kitten initially started to groom it before losing interest. This may be nice for a cat who wants a tinyl mouse looking pillow to rest on or perhaps it could be a cat teddy bear of sorts but it is not for play and I have purchased better toys for under £1.00

Chester , my cat loves this toy and he really loves the feathers on its tail , when it squeaks he runs away lol 😆!! The smell is pleasant, great bounce of the toy , nice and light too , great size, fun toy for him !! Great price too !! Thank you 😊!! Superb delivery 👌

This is her favourite toy and she has tonnes of toys. She thinks it’s her baby and carry’s it around with her taking it to family members for them to pat it and sleeps with it in her bed. Occasionally she gets it in to her head to take her “baby” for a walk in the garden between 2-3am. Not sure what the neighbours make of the tweeting but she is so happy and life is too short to stop her from doing it. Toy is well made, battery life goes on for ever. Good value for money. Not sure if it is ok for all dogs as it is a cat toy , but I’ve not had any problem with my Minature dachshund playing with it other than she sometimes forget where she left it and you end up having to go through the house looking for it at night.

I bought this toy mouse for my new kitten. She had been playing with the one I bought 16 years ago for my old cat but decided to drown that one in her water bowl! I received a mouse which was faulty and made no noise. I requested a return, sent it off and received a refund within a couple of days. I really wanted a replacement for the drowned mouse so I ordered again. The second mouse arrived today and works perfectly. My kitten has worn herself out playing 'fetch' with us and is now fast asleep on my lap. I am really pleased with the new mouse and the great customer service I have received from the seller. EDIT. Our kitten has just dropped the old mouse in her water bowl again! It is saturated. Reading the reviews, this seems to be common! 😹
