Great Knife!
This is a replacement for a Henckels 3" paring knife I've had for decades. It IS razor sharp! Love Henckels knives! They last forever (almost)!

A sharp knife that will last a long time
Great little paring knife to add to your knife collection. As Advertised it comes with a razor sharp edge and it is a joy to use in food preparation. Quality is definitely high and worth the price.

Made in Spain not Germany but lives up to being a Henkel.
I thought it was made in Germany, but I didn't see the description that ut us made in Spain. That being said,it's still a great knife. Feels lighter than my German made Henkels. I accidentally threw away the pairing knife that went to my 26 year old set and I wanted to replace it. This knife is razor sharp so be careful. I'm happy with my purchase.

My best pairing knife to date
I was making a favorite seafood dish the other day and SNAP! My cheap pairing knife broke into. I was really excited because this opened the door for a new pairing knife of greater quality and to me there was only one company that was getting my business. A few days prior I had seen a beautiful Henkel that not only was my favorite style but attached with a excellent price. My friends were talking one of the best and oldest knife manufacturers in the world. Henkel have been a staple for chefs and restaurants for decades. When I first used a classic 8" chef knife of their make I realized why so much attention was focused on craftsmanship. The perfect weight and a edge that needs little care very often. A few swipes with a steel and you're in business. Cutting with this pairing knife needs no pressure, the blade glides right through whatever vegetable, protein, seafood or food items that needs work. Try it, you will love this knife and all the Henkel products.

Great Knife with Caveat
I've had the knife for 3 years now. It sits well in my hand, the steel is very good, keeps its edge and is razor sharp. I had to knock off one star with respect to its balance. Instead of laying on its side when I lay it down, the balance of the knife tends to roll it onto its back, blade up. I have to be very careful about how I sit it down.

I have HENCKEL knives.
I love my HENCKEL knives. I have the original knives for the past 20 yrs. made in Brazil. The HENCKEL paring knife I just bought was from Spain. The only difference is tbat the wood grip is thinner. If t was expensive but bc my right hand only has 2 fingers and a thumb that works I need a good sharp knife. Let see how this knife works for me.

Really nice
Love this knife. Small enough for little jobs and also strong enough to slice an apple! I like the heft of it compared to another knife that was recommended by a well-known magazine as the top pick. This knife is the top pick for me with a seriously nice blade. The price is also fair.

Great knife.
Great pearing knife. I would suggest not putting in the dishwasher as it wrecks the handle. This is our replacement knife. We had the first for 10 years and replaced with this the exact same product.
