Broom Bracket in Various Sizes (24mm Inner)

This brought a broken broom that had a plastic fitting back to life… Took 5 to 10 minutes to set up with the Broom, and all good again to sweep anything away..

I’m not sure why the manufacturers of brooms for use outside make the brackets out of plastic - they are not fit for purpose and break. I bought this bracket to fix my wooden bristle head to the wooden handle. It was easy to fit and works perfectly. Don’t forget to measure your wooden handle’s size.

Ordered a 29mm size to fit my 28mm handle, but had to drive it in really hard against the ground to get it to fit. Think they sent me a 27mm it would seem which i eventually forced in.Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the screws supplied aren't fit for purpose.Too short, and they are not wood screws. I've already had to tighten them up after 1 bout of sweeping and they're always going to work loose. Will need to replace them with wood screws from my toolbox when i get round to it. The bracket itself is solid though, far better than the green plastic crap.

Bought a broom and the plastic that attached the wooden pole to the head was so bad that it broke before even using it.The actual brush part seemed quite good quality and the wooden pole was ok so thought about getting this product to repair the brush.I’m glad I did because the replacement bracket is sturdy and easy to fit and I will keep it and fit on any future brushes I buy as I think this bracket will last foreverCame quickly and well packaged and with screws to fit so I think it is a worthwhile product to have and do recommend.Comes in various different sizes also depending on that the diameter of your handle is.

Product arrived as described,very sturdy metal bracket for your yard brush,purchased this item after plastic bracket holding handle to brush split in two and brush was to good to throw away and bought the metal bracket to replace,what a difference when I fitted the bracket to brush head,solid and will more than likely outlive the brush head,would highly recommend this product going forward,and the company avonstar who made this metal bracket.

Bought to repair a broom after plastic bracket broke. It’s a good piece of equipment to repair broken broom head. However just a note: you could purchase a complete broom head and plastic bracket from a builders yard for cheaper - I saw one for £5. Hence 4 stars for value for money. However if you don’t just want to throw away a perfectly good broom head, as in my case, this metal bracket is just the job as a replacement and is far more sturdy and long lasting than the plastic ones. Also like that you can secure the bracket directly into broom handle with a screw for added strength. Overall I’m really pleased with the purchase and glad I could do a simple repair rather than throwing out an almost new broom.
