Dentahex Pet Oral Hygiene Rinse, 8oz

My dog started "smacking" his lips a lot. I peeked at his gums and one section was red and inflamed and another on a was also quite red. We've an appointment to see the vet, but this has been helpful to keep him comfortable and keep the area clean in the meantime. I've only been using it for a few days, so too soon to tell if it whitens. You get a lot for the money and to use I poured some into a tiny spray bottle so it's easier to use and apply to his gum line, it helps a lot.

This definitely has a made a difference in our senior pup ! Vet recommended. Use a gauze with some of this solution rub on my dogs teeth and gums. It helps kill off the bacteria for sure ! Has been big improvement considering my pup is too old for tooth removal.

I believe this is a benefit for my small dog's teeth. I do not use the provided applicator in the top. I use a longer eye dropper. The provided applicator sprays too much liquid cannot control the output. Her last vet check commented on her teeth looking good. She is under 10 lbs and susceptible to tooth decay.

I soak some qtips in some of the sollution, then I put it on my dogs teeth and gums. He does not like the taste, but it seems to help his gums. Then I brush with an enzymatic toothpaste. Heart disease and other health issues from gum disease in pets are pretty serious, so I am hoping this helps.

I think this is an excellent product for both my Pomeranian dogs teeth. I do not observe the directions on the back. I take a 2 x 2 gauze and put the product on this and use like a finger wipe. Trying to squirt the product in their mouth would not work out very well. I have noticed that their teeth have started to clear from the tartar and their breath is much much better! This product was recommended by my veterinarian, and I think it’s going to work out perfectly!

I can not believe the difference this made the very first use. I have an 8yr miniature Poodle/Bichon mix. He's a rescue and is awaiting to get his teeth cleaned. Daily brushing doesn't help. His breath was soooooo disrespectful and disgusting, I mean the smell was soooooooooo bad. I've changed vets last week and she recommended this product. I put two small squirts on his top gums and the smell literally went away within mins. That was at 3pm after he ate dinner, its now 2am and still no smell...This is like a miracle.... I highly recommend...

This rinse did help freshen my pet’s breath and improve gum appearance when used as directed. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t require brushing, which is a plus. That said, I wouldn’t use it as a long-term daily solution without guidance, since it’s better suited for short-term or targeted use. I’d recommend it if used correctly and as intended, especially for temporary oral care support.

You use this on a toothbrush after you have used the dog toothpaste my veterinarian highly recommend this product. Don’t forget to use the toothpaste and brush the teeth first, and then you can wet the toothbrush with this liquid and brush it on as best as you can, obviously the docs cannot rinse with it.
