Bought this 3 years ago because I wanted both storage and a step stool to my slightly raised bed in my college dorm. Over the years I’ve stepped on it with the lid slightly misaligned, jumped on it, and had multiple people sit on it, and the thing still stands. Though the corners around the lid are a bit messed up, it absolutely still works, looks great, and the top of the lid and sides are still very strong. It looks cute, has tons of space, and can be used as a stepstool and seat for 3 years and still be functional even when put through the wringer.

This is a wonderful piece of furniture that I really appreciate. Its versatility is impressive, and it offers additional storage space, making it excellent for keeping pillows or folded towels, all while serving as extra seating. Thank you Amazon.

Durable, sturdy, easy to assemble.

If you are looking for a nice looking storage bench, you will probably like this one. It was very easy to assemble. It took me 5 minutes. I bought the bench for my theater room. I needed storage for extra blankets, and an extra seat or two when we have more guests than chairs. The product information says it can hold up to 700 lbs. I had 2 of my sons sit on it and it really didn’t seem strong enough to hold them. Their weight in total is less than 400 lbs. The inside has 2 dividers making it difficult to store blankets that are very big. The seat cushion is nice, but my room is painted black so it isn’t seen very well. While my review may sound a little negative, I actually really like the bench for my needs. I’m just trying to explain it well enough that you, a possible buyer, will be informed well enough you will make the decision that best suits your needs. Over all, I really like this bench and would recommend it for light usage.

Seems sturdy/Just received. Super easy to put together (less than a minute.) Just unfold, place support panel in bottom, place 2 Velcro dividers, and place lid on top :) The dividers are optional. Can have 3 separate areas. I like the separation option as I plan to use 1 area for sheets, so divider will keep in their designated area. Might remove 1 of dividers for longer area to place extra pillows. (Could stack 2 fairly fluffy king sized pillows in that space, leaving 1 other divider in place for sheets). I also like that if you don’t want one or both divider panels, they fold in so you don’t lose them or need to store elsewhere in case need for future.

The quality is honestly meh, but for 50 dollars you get what you pay for. After a while of use the inside support begins to give in, the top cover and its sides begin deteriorating. This makes it unusable for storage or seating. I never had anyone over that weight limit either so its normal wear and tear is pretty drastic. The Velcro attachments that hold the supports are probably the biggest downfall as this also starts to be less effective in holding the support slides and causes it to wobble when sitting.
