I would take your bait and stick it inside with peanut butter so the mouse cannot quickly leave with your bait. While it’s trying to eat it or leave, then hopefully the door will shut. That’s what we did because the mouse we had was so tiny. Hope that helps!

You can just pull off the front and back door of the trap. I didn't have to twist just pull.

Should be a small circle on the back end to put it on. Mouse goes in it and trap tips back shutting the door. Works but it's small and stressed the mouse I caught and killed it anyway :/
