I don't have them with me now to measure, but they are basically normal pencil length, maybe a bit on the shorter side. Not half - length for sure, they're a decent size.

Do pencil stains on clothing wash off easily?

The material is more like crayon then regular color pencil. They don't stain clothes easily but they are not washable. My 4 yr old draw a line on the wall and I couldn't get it off completely.

What colors are in this box?

the colors are like those in a regular box of eight crayons. Just the right size for small hands and the don't break if the child presses down on them.
