Is this the same as OTO - 50??

No, these are a DPD test for chlorine and ph. They have different number ranges then the OTO . I suggest you get a Taylor K-2006 test kit so you can get better test numbers for not only chlorine and ph , but your total alkalinity, CYA, calcium hardness. As your chemicals can affect your pool plaster and equipment

What is the expiration date on these?

The Reagents I've purchased have all been at least a year before expiration date

Is Reagent 14 the same as Reagent 4.. I have the Residential Taylor test kit

R-0014 uses a SMALLER vial to test for pH, while R-0004 uses a LARGER vial. R-0014 comes in smaller RESIDENTIAL kit (K-1004) while the R-0014 comes in larger more COMPLETE HIGH kit (K-2005). Each kit uses a different volume of water to test pH, therefore concentrations in the bottles are not the same and thus are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

Beats the standard chlorine test

These reagents provides a pink scale for Cl (or Br) content, which I've found much better for tracking pool chlorine versus the yellow test kit that most provide. These refill reagents are good value for money, and this is my second purchase of a refill kit for the 0.75 oz bottles that come with the more comprehensive test kit. NOTE: the pH is a more concentrated version of what is sold in the kits for the residential market, so you only need to use 1 drop instead of 5 to test for pH. This means even more value for money! Highly recommend these for any pool owner.
