Such a rich flavor, it is so good on many different things...but best in sushi of course.

This isn't eel sauce.
This page has "eel sauce" as the title, but upon reading the label it's "sushi sauce". It tastes like somebody took a gallon of high fructose corn syrup and added a bottle of soy sauce into it. As opposed to the creamy savory/sweet sauce that I know as eel sauce, this is a thick yet sickly salty sauce. There isn't any sweetness to be found, and it's got the same flavor as the third glug of soy sauce if you're chugging it from the bottle. I'm just pissed I sprung for the half gallon. This garbage is going directly in the toilet, just wish I sprung for a smaller/cheaper size so I didn't have to spend all day pouring it out. Whoever made this garbage ought to go fulfill their dreams, as being a chef clearly isn't their calling. Buyer beware.
