Works great! As of 11/23/25, I have not noticed any mold. I do keep it hanging in the shower so that it’s not up against the wall so it’s able to dry easier, but I’ve found with these kinds of scrubbers that that’s not always enough to keep it from getting gross. The bristles are well made, and I haven’t noticed any shedding. I would say that both sides are relatively rough, though the soft side is definitely softer and is the side that I choose to use and it does a really great job of exfoliating. I have tried using my hand/mitt exfoliation afterwards and noticed there wasn’t any skin pilling up, which tells me that this bristle brush does a really good job of exfoliating and can be a great alternative for those who don’t love using mitts, as they can’t be more labor intensive.

I needed a back brush and this one appealed to me because it has two different types of bristles. Also, it's made of wood and I thought that would make it nice and sturdy. It comes with a hook, but I haven't used it because the cord that's on the handle fits perfectly around the faucet handle in my shower stall. I've used this a few times now, and I really like the way it feels on my skin. I've been using the soft bristles, though I don't really know how much difference there is between the soft and the firm. The handle is long enough to reach all across my back with no problem. There are a couple of little gripper areas toward the end of the handle, but I often find that I just grab the center of the handle for spots on the right side (I'm right-handed). I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Like it. Use it every day. The bristles on either side are of different stiffness and both work well for me. The wooden handle is much stronger than plastic ones.

Go forward 6 months and I ordered another as the first one got damaged. Very close to the last one but I had to change the review from 5 to 3 stars as the softer bristles seem to not be as plentiful as before and that half does not make/hold lather as well as it once did. If they upped the bristle count on the soft brush, this would be 5 stars. Until then- not. Original: This is generally well made with a good quality finish on the wood handle, well attached bristles, and inlaid rubber grips to minimize the handle slipping. The two bristle stiffness's makes for one brush that can handle a range of skin areas from soles of feet to face. The one item that could use improvement is to increase bristle density on the side with the softer bristles. It's rather light on bristles and after a couple weeks already showing signs of wear such as bristle spreading. A few more bristles at each hole would be an improvement.

The hard side is stiff enough to get a really good scrub and remove dry skin. The soft side is very soft and gentle. The brush works well for cleaning your body. Very happy! Yes recoomend.

Its a great product for everyday use, you can brush off your skin and you will feel legit fresh right after your bath. Recommend others to buy.
