Garden Broom

This is a great broom! It is ideal for sweeping leaves, twigs & brush. The thick bristles grip the brush and dirt, move it and let go with without magnetically attracting it the way plastic bristles do. The natural wood colors in this broom look great and "go with" outdoor and covered porch settings so you can keep them handy without uglifying your environment like the plastic broom colors and textures do (bright white, unnatural bright green, red and black). My only criticism is that the broom cannot be hung on a hook, so when set aside it must be leaved against a wall so its weight rests on the bristles. I fixed that by drilling a hole through the pole a couple of inches from the end, then running in a loop of heavy twine. Now it hangs neatly off the ground from a brass hook.

These brooms are great. I bought my first one at the Philly Flower show in 2013 and it just wore out. They are stiff and handle the outdoor sweeping great.

This is “the best” garden broom. It is the second one I have purchased as after several years the first one was showing wear. Several friends have purchased one after testing mine. It is a “must have” for tidy yards.

Lightweight and works well as a combo broom/rake for outdoor use only. After a couple years the lacing slid down and down so only good for cement cracks or the like. This is the third one I bought. Corn brooms also don't last forever and are not as versatile for out side use.

I saw a neighbor sweeping the leaves linger & rot getting in the way of the comming new buds. I asked her where she got it, finished my walk went in the house & ordered it, it arrived in 1-2 days- it must have been in a local warehouse These "straws" are extra stout, right when I got it I went outside and "beat the bushes"! I got the wet leaves off the hedge & off my walkways!!!

Absolutely love this broom!! It is flimsy looking, however it is strong and does the job!! Very happy with purchase!

First mne we received as a gift wporkled so well, we bought anotjher.

I had hoped that this would be sturdier when I ordered but this broom is rather thin o straw. It doesn't sweep as well as my older one whi h at 6 years is still going strong. I will keep it but I would not give it a higher rating as I don't think you will be satisfied with this item as I think the straw will not last.

If you have never used one of these broom on concrete or stone. Then you don’t know how great they are. Those old corn broom don’t even come close. This thing is like magic on any outside surface including patio rugs. My first one ever I got as a house warming gift 7 years ago. I finally through it out this year. It did such a good job and lasted so long that I had to find another. They were nowhere to be found in local stores. So I came here. I was feeling sceptical as the picture doesn’t do it justice. But when it arrived I was happy to see it looks like my original and it does the same great job. Here’s hoping that it has the same longevity. The only negative is all the packaging. But then again, that’s what Amazon is famous for, way too much packaging.

I use it sweeping up all the leaves in my garden, so easy to use. This is my second one.

This broom is great for so many uses in the garden...spreading mulch, sweeping patios and sidewalks, sweeping leaves, even light snow, etc. Very well-made and sturdy. But light.

Strong stiff bristles at just the right density for clearing gravel, sand, salt and light snow off of the deck and walk way.
