Only needs to be wound once a month
I bought this wall clock in Germany. The craftsmanship is fantastic. Because there isn't a chime, the unit hangs much flatter against the wall and weighs a lot less than other regulators, because there is only one weight to wind up. It only needs to be wound once a month, compared to once a week for most other regulators. It is very quiet. Shelf life is expected to be over 100 years if you have it oiled once every 10 - 12 years by a professional.
