rolly toys John Deere Pedal Tractor with Working Loader and Backhoe Digger, Youth Ages 3+

We bought the tractor for our 3 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves his tractor just like his dad's tractor. The front loader and backhoe are good in the soft snow, we will see how it works in the summer in sand. First, he needed to get used to the pedaling motion, but now he got the hand of it. You need to assemble some parts of the tractor which takes time but instructions are reasonable well. It took a couple of hours. Unfortunately, the shipping box got destroyed with a huge hole in the box. A piece of the wheel was missing. Amazon wanted me to send the tractor back. I called Kettler USA and their customer service and support is fantastic. Kettler sent me the missing piece for free in three days. Don't be alarmed if only one wheel is actively engaged with the pedaling motion, this is normal, something technical that made sense. I thought my son broke it and disassembled the tractor. Kettler customer service was again great and explained to me the reason. Kettler send me the bold that I broke in taking the wheel off again for free in three days. Great toy, if you have an issue call Kettler directly they are happy to help, do not call Amazon for help. Great customer service by Kettler.

The installation instructions were horrible. The piece that operates the steering wheel was not included so needless to say this is parked up and not usable. That is heartbreaking because my 3 yr old grandson loves it but he cannot use it. We have tried finding something similar but nothing has worked so far. I do not know how to contact the manufacturer to get the missing piece. They are in Germany.

The box came a little damaged but all complete very fun to assemble very fun to use very good toy my son loves it

This is the worst 300$ I’ve ever spent. It’s a cheap piece of plastic. Took 3 hours to assemble with directions that were pictures nothing in writing. No extra pieces so if you screw something up it’s over. Doesn’t even pick anything up. Awful awful buy highly disappointed

Very durable for a two yr old and has already dug in the sandbox and snow piles. great little unit. i would purchase another. the only bad thing i can say about the tractor is the assembly instructions. putting them in order and not in 3 separate sets would make that much simpler. the pictures are really tough to decipher and it takes some imagination to get it together. hes very happy with it

For a plastic toy, it is extremely well made with metal piece is key areas. My two sons, 3 and 5, have been playing it regularly over the last 6 weeks and it is holding up very well.

Make sure you read the directions carefully can save you an hour of your time and frustration if you just pay attention to the instructions !

It is Christmas Eve and when we came to assemble the backhoe we find that it is missing lots of pieces and has no hardware like screws, bolts etc. To put what we have together. This isn't something we thought we would have to deal with when ordering such an expensive item. We are noe trying to figure out how to explain to our child that what he asked for isn't here.

It's very sturdy and very well thought out which is more than you can say for the instructions. I was determined not to go to a video and try and figure it out and I did but really the diagrams are too small for what it is. No pieces were missing but the stickers were a little crinkled in the box (should've been in a hard backed envelope) so I flattened them out for a few days under weighted items first. No issues putting it all together but you might need some help with someone else being present for certain elements. I even had some spares which will come in useful I'm sure. I didn't build it in a hurry as I wanted the stickers to be flattened out, but I reckon, in total it was a couple of hours at least. It isn't just screwing bits together, you will need a screwdriver, spanner and a hammer as a minimum but the sizes are pretty standard. I think my grandson will love it and I wish I was 3!

es gibt 1-2 Punkte die bei dem Traktor nicht ganz so gut sind. Mein Neffe 2,5 Jahre ist ausgeflippt als er den Traktor gesehen hat und er liebt ihn. Die erste Probefahrt in Haus stellte sich aufgrund des Wendekreises aber nicht so einfach dar. Ich weiß noch nicht wie es Draußen aussieht mit mehr platz aber der Wendekreis ist auf jeden fall sehr sehr groß. Der Aufbau des Traktor ist für ungeübte und mit 2 Linken Händen auch nicht ganz so leicht da die Anleitung hier und da ein wenig Verwirrung stiftet. Aber mit ein bisschen Zeit und ruhe schafft man es. Die Schaufel ist für meinen 2,5 Jahre alten Neffen noch ein bisschen Schwer aber ich denke mit 3-4 wird er es ohne Probleme Schaffen. Die Plastikteile fühlen sich alle sehr Hochwertig und Stabil an.
