V Tech Switch & Go Dinos Span The Spinosaurus Dinosaur

Bought this almost two years ago when my son was turning four and he still plays with it and it works great. I did have to change the batteries once. But they were a normal kind of batteries not a crazy kind that some toys have that I can never find in stores. This toy was easy to transform and as a parent I was not afraid of it falling apart every time he or my three year old tried to change it. Both my kids love to change its eyes and voice and hear all the sayings that come from the dinosaur. So my 5 year old still loves it and it has been a great toy. Would buy again. Because of this toy I have purchased even more of these switch and go dino toys. Everyone who comes over to play always want to play with this and other switch and go dinos and comment on how well built these toys are. I am not a sentimental person with things, but I might save these toys for my grandchildren to play with.

If you are on the fence, please pull the trigger and purchase this toy. It is better than any transformer, or any other toy I've seen in this category. We purchased this toy at the beginning of the pandemic, and it quickly became my 3 year old's favorite toy. It is incredibly well made, with thoughtful engineered parts. The plastic is high quality, and the construction is the same, it has survived falls of 3-4 feet, and the everyday tumbles and abuse that comes along with being a 3-year olds favorite toy. Whoever engineered this toy did a fantastic job.

Purchased for my four year old grandson’s birthday. He loves it and plays with it all the time. It is small enough to take in the car or carry in a bag. At first he had to have help converting it from plane to Dino but once he got the hang of it, it is easy for him. It also has a volume control which is great for mom and dad. It does have a couple small parts that we have to keep away from his year old brother. It was a good purchase.

Not only does my three year old son love this gift that he received for Christmas, but his seven year old sister loves playing with it as well. In fact, both of them spent much of Christmas day studying the sales booklet that came with it and trying to decide which Switch & Go Dino they want to get next. They are both now very versed on which Switch & Go is which and which one does what. :-) They both love that he can be transformed quite easily (so am I, because my son wanted transformers, too, and not even his dad and I can figure out how to transform those!) They also love the baby dino and cage that he came with. And look out for the little "food discs" that he shoots out of his mouth. They are being shot out all the time and wind up all over the house. This gift was a huge hit! The only problem (and reason I can't give 5 stars) is that the small front arms on this product come off quite easily. They came off soon after he was opened on Christmas day and have been off pretty much ever since. Even though they go back on easily, they come right back off just as easily. They are very small in comparison to the rest of the dinosaur, so my son hasn't noticed or cared much when they are not attached, but this is still a flaw with the design of this particular Switch & Go.

My four year old got this for his birthday and he is obsessed! He loves when it says "nice to eat you..I mean meet you!" He is able to transform it really quickly and loves that it makes plane sounds and dinosaur sounds. Awesome toy for the price! Jaw falls off from time to time but t snaps back on no problem, he fixes it himself. Awesome buyn

At first, we couldn't get the eyes to change to dinosaur mode. Then one of the kids yanked harder on the dinosaur's head, and we realized that it had been stuck, and just wasn't coming out all the way at first. Now it's loosened up where it comes out better. Even though that worked itself out, it still has a problem with losing parts. We gave up trying to keep the arms on. They would fall out almost on their own. Now the jaw won't stay well. Why can't they just make stuff that works right anymore?

If you have a boy, you know they love multi-tasking toys. This one is great, it becomes a plane that can shoot discs out of it's wings as well as carry other toys by way of a platform you hang from the bottom hook. Challenging to transform for my 4 year old, but give him time and I think he'll remember all the steps.

OK, it has been two years and this monster is still alive and making noises. I have a reasonable expectations that a toy in the hands of twin prescholers shouldn't last more than a year. Is it too much to ask? I need the storage space.

Wonderfull Dino; my Grandson loves it!!!!!

My 4 year old son loved this dino and was able to switch it himself. I have found that the arms and jaw snap off regularly but the are easily put back on.
