I’ve been using this small 3-gallon recycling container since 2023, and it has been a great addition to my home office. The size is perfect for everyday plastic bottles, paper waste, mail, and small packaging without taking up too much space. The build quality has held up very well over time with no cracking or warping. It’s lightweight but sturdy, and easy to wipe clean. I also like the simple, clean design—it looks professional and blends well with office furniture. If you’re looking for a compact recycling bin for an office, bedroom, or study area, this one does the job reliably. I would definitely purchase it again.

Best price for bins of this size. Office paper 8-1/2 x 11 is perfect into this 3.25 Gallon Recycling in Blue. This is very space efficient without cramping all the paper and having to empty at a quarter full because paper is folding onto itself, however, you could still probably fit about 5 reams of paper into this bin. Additionally, as to the color, I just blindly aim for a blue when the black trash bin is beside it.

This recycling bin is exactly what I wanted. I was tired of empty cans sitting around till I decided to go outside and put them in my city supplied recycling bin. It is pretty small but is perfect for cans and bottles. It looks nice and is well made. You can't go wrong with Rubbermaid products

Be sure to read all of the bad reviews on this recycle bin. Most of the bad reviews are based on an error in the listing for this bin vs. the quality of the bin. Don't get me wrong, I'd leave a bad review too if I expected multiple bins and got just one so the bad reviews are understandable. But in regards to the bin itself..... It's small. It's exactly what I needed. It fits under my desk well. It has a matching trash can available. Because it's small you'll have to empty it often. I have a partially finished basement which is where my home office is. I have two large trash cans that I keep down in the unfinished area, one for trash and one for recycle. This allows me to keep small trash can/recycle bin under my desk and empty once a week or so into the big cans. Then I can empty the big ones only once every couple months or so. Works well for what I wanted. Edit 4/16/13: Bought a second one for the bathroom. We're at a point now where we have only a single bag of garbage that goes in the trash can each week. Almost everything else is recycled. It's 11.25" wide x 8.25" deep x 12" tall. The first two measurements are taken at the top of the can and it narrows a bit towards the bottom. Edit 7/16/13: I just noticed that Amazon has removed all of the negative reviews that I mentioned in my previous review. At the point when I bought this recycle bin it had mostly 1 star reviews. The original listing led people to believe that they would be getting 10 or 12 of these instead of just one. This led people to post negative reviews. Now it looks like all of the reviews are based on the quality of the bin and not the listing errors. The universe has fixed itself.

Everything you could ask for in a recycle bin (garbage can too!). It's the perfect size for under a desk or under your kitchen sink, it's a well made, durable plastic and it looks as awesome as you'd think it would. Even the logo is solid! Actually engraved and painted as opposed to a vinyl decal or sticker. It fits beautifully side by side with the equivalent trash can made by Rubbermaid and allows guests to easily distinguish your garbage versus recycle! Easily cleaned and doesn't require batteries, charging, love or energy to maintain. You don't have to cook it dinner, it won't dirty any dishes and it happily takes all the trash you throw at it without talking back! The day I received it my adorable toddler carried it around and used it as a toy carrier right side up and then flipped it upside down and used it as a seat before excitingly showing Grandpa which receptacle was for garbage and which was for recycle. Couldn't be more pleased with this product :). Highly recommend!!

Great little bin. Perfect for my cabin that I rent to guests. I put a garbage bag in it so liquids end up in the bag and not the bin. On the day of check out I may or may not change the garbage bag. I dry it with a paper towel when I empty it during their stay. Some folks are smart enough to put in cans etc. upright so no liquid spills in the bin. Well used by guests. Looks good and does not take away much space.
