I got these brushes for my daughter to help lighten her spirit when her school had to close due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak. When I told her about school, she sobbed all evening and was still so disappointed the following day. She absolutely loves art and has such a beautiful, creative mind. I wanted to do something special for her, so I got her this brush set. She was so excited when these arrived! It was the first time I had seen her smile all week! I appreciate the nice, sturdy storage case these brushes come in, as well as the variety of brushes and painting knife. My daughter loves to play with different materials and texture in her art, so this set was perfect!! The brushes are so easy to clean, and the blotting sponges are absolutely perfect for blotting between color changes and great for helping with brush cleaning as well. I am really impressed with this brush kit! I might get myself one too!

I haven't had mant experiences with brushes of this quality, especially since I'm new(ish) to oil painting. However, I can say that, three days into a large project, they've held up very well. I haven't had any issues with hairs falling out or bending, or the adhesive/grip becoming lose, which I've encountered in the past, and my more experienced oil painter friends complain about. Each brush lays down a smooth texture, which is wonderful. They blend very well, which has always been the scariest thing as an amateur/intermediate artist. I'm working on an 18×24 piece with these brushes at the moment, and the brush sizes are just perfect to get a wide range of coverage but also include smaller details to help bring the piece along. After every wash, the bristles jump right back to their original place. I'm very happy with them, and I'm hopeful that they'll be with me for awhile yet. I'd probably even order this set again, if I need a new set. If I had more friends getting into painting, I would highly recommend these. They've been fantastic.

I've worked with brushes off and on in my life. These are good quality and hold paint well. The bristles are soft and retain shape well. With the variety of sizes of thr brushes you can paint what your heart sees. Nice size carrying case for easy storage after cleaning.

I just received today and will review in more detail after use. I noticed a number of people commented that the bristles of the brushes were "pasted together". Yes, the bristles are coated with a product to protect them until first use. I wash new brushes (I'm a watercolor painter) in warm water with a little gentle soap. I use Ivory bar soap, but there is actual brush soap if you want to buy it. I also make sure I reshape the bristles while wet so they dry in proper shape an hold the shape. I purchased this set to use while experimenting with acrylics because they appear to be a great value for the price.

All the brushes arrived intact, but the fan brush bristles were a little crushed. I do not believe that was a courier mistake, just not enough room in the kit. The brushes were frozen when arrived, so I do not know if I can fix the fan brush. I'm not too worried about the fan brush though as I bought this kit for miniature painting. They are decent brushes and these will be my work horse brushes for terrain and big models. Good value in my opinion.

The brushes are regular size, not the really long ones. I wanted the long ones because I was going to use the case for different brushes, actually, but these brushes seem nice. I haven't used them yet but they are very soft and the different shapes are definitely welcome. I'll be keeping them to use at school. The case is a little hard but I think with use will mellow out. The package came in a great condition and the seller contacted me personally to double check that I received it on time and that there aren't any issues which I really appreciate.

I am a beginning painter. At first glance the brushes appear to be of very good quality and the medium length handle is very nice. I am disappointed that the case does not pop-up as advertised to stand the brushes up. The brushes do lift up from the Velcro attachment but there is nothing on the side as pictured to hold them up once removed from the Velcro. The painting knife is ok not cheap and not very strong. I will definitely purchase a sturdier set of knives later once I know which sizes I prefer. Overall happy with my first impression of these brushes.

The brushes are very nice. I bought them for my son for Christmas and I was very surprised at the quality. The bristles are extremely soft and clean easily.
