Barron's Real Estate Exam Flash Cards FLC CRDS Edition

These cards were helpful. I used them for 3 weeks prior to my exam and they saved me a lot of time making hundreds of flash cards (this set has 500). They covered the basics terms and information, and gave useful examples on each card with the definitions. However, they were not totally comprehensive and lacked a lot in the mathematics one needs to know for the exam. I ended up making about 200 of my own flash cards (including state-specific information that no basic flash card set would have) in addition to this set to help with my studying, but that was better than making 700 cards myself. I would recommend these cards to solidify the basics, but I would not recommend using these cards as the ONLY study method because they are not entirely comprehensive. I purchased these cards to help me pass the MA real estate exam because I did not want to make my own flash cards for the huge amount of information you need to know only for the exam. I passed the exam on my first attempt.

The cards are useful in the sense that they are categorized. There are a lot of cards and some that are irrelevant to the type of information you might find on the exam so I would advise you to do a preliminary study of each section at a time and then remove the cards that are not as important or that don't contain facts just to cut the stack down a little. The box came with one small ring which was great. I ended up purchasing a pack of 10 more rings so that I could put each category on its on ring and just grab one or 2 rings whenever I wanted to study. Don't try to go thru the entire stack of 479 cards at once or you will regret it and only cause yourself a lot of frustration. One section at a time is the best method.

EXCELLENT MATERIAL VERY INFORMATIC

I was sooo excited to get these cards. I had been making my own flash cards for 2 weeks, then I went online to look for a real estate dictionary and came across these! I couldn't believe my eyes!HOWEVER, upon receiving them and going through the GIANT stack, I have found them NOT all that helpful!WHY? Because:#1 there are just too many cards!#2 the fronts of the cards are written in proper question formatting. I find that a huge waste of my time. I need the card to say, for example, "tenancy in common" on one side and a brief but thorough description on the backside. Even an example (which the cards do often provide) is helpful sometimes. But PLEASE, keep it as brief as possible so I can move on to the next card!There are so many new words and phrases to memorize in the world of real estate! These cards need much less wordage in order to provide an efficient studying tool.GOOD LUCK TO ALL TAKING YOUR STATE EXAM!!

This product is wonderful.Very helpful since I am new to real estate industry, it is answering alot of questions that I have. The delivery process was quick and smooth. Didn't have any problems whatsoever. Receive the products in like 2-3 days of ordering, wow very fast. And the price was excellent and the product was in good condition.

I bought this and the companion book entitled Barron's Real Estate Licensing Exams to help me study for my real estate exams. The book is nice in that it has some tangible tests for you to use and it goes into detail about laws at both the state and national level, however, the flash cards were of no use. They were all common sense terms like what is rent? what is a landlord? etc. The book, most real estate courses, any online free terminology list, or a .99 cent phone app (re exam study guide for your smart phone cell phone) will offer you these words and more. There are 479 term cards, 5 info cards, and a ring inside the box to hold the cards on, not 500 like the box says. Also, there are not vocab for types of house styles, or laws at the national level in the set.

I just received my package. The delivery was FAST ! I opened the box and OMG this is a real estate student heaven. I take classes online, but I am old school when it comes to studying. I went to the dollar store and purchase blank flashcards , wrote little notes on it but I still didn't get what I needed . I just looked at 10 cards in the box and YES. I am indeed complete. Definitely a must have for your career

After being in the real estate, legal and financial industries for nearly 30 years - the last 8 as a real estate salesperson - I have always had an issue with the suffixes OR and EE (as in Mortgagor and Mortgagee) and Today, FINALLY, terminology & a definition that explained in PERFECTLY!! Flashcards to keep on hand for constant study is a major plus!! Thanks, Barron's - I know I'll pass my upcoming Broker's Exam without a doubt!!
