perfect for young artists—easy to use and great color variety
I used this for a Girl Scout meeting art project with girls ages 5–6, and it worked really well for that age group. The clay was soft and easy for them to manipulate, so they were able to create little sculptures (mostly their favorite stuffed animals) without getting frustrated. It held its shape well but was still easy for small hands to work with. * Very kid-friendly: Easy to mold and shape for younger kids * Great color variety: The range of colors made it more fun and creative for them * Tools included: The small tools were a nice bonus and actually got used You’ll want to make sure the clay is sealed properly after opening so it doesn’t dry out. This is a great option for group activities or crafts with younger kids—easy to use, engaging, and lots of color choices to keep them interested.

Good buy
Fantastic kids clay—hours of creative fun for my little ones! This modeling clay set is a hit in our house! Super soft and easy to mold right out of the package, with vibrant colors that don’t fade or mix into mud when they blend (though they do love mixing anyway). It’s non-toxic, non-sticky, and doesn’t dry out quickly even if left open for a bit—perfect for little hands and long play sessions. My kids (ages 4-8) spend ages making animals, monsters, and silly shapes without it crumbling or being too hard. Cleanup is easy too—just wipe surfaces and wash hands. The big assortment of colors keeps things exciting, and it holds details well for their creations. Great value, safe, and sparks so much imagination. We’ve already restocked—highly recommend for rainy days or anytime creativity!

A really, really good kit and very workable Air Dry Clay. Highly recommend!
My great grandkids and I love this Air Dry Clay. Not only does it not dry too quickly which for little hands is a blessing when a mistake is made, but this kit comes with little bags for the left overs or to put colors together. I've ordered this before and we've not been disappointed. We did try another brand and it wasn't as sturdy as this and dried way too quickly. We'll stick this this one! It used to come in cardboard but now just in a plastic bad. But that won't deter us from using it! : )

Great for any age!
I bought 2 of these sets. The clay is more the texture of a thicker slime before dry. It does not feel like ‘normal’ clay. I have made two little figures with my kids so far, a cheeseburger and a snail. -All of the colors come individually sealed in plastic. INCLUDED are mini ziplock baggies to put each the colors of clay in once you remove it from the packaging plastic. I thought this was nice. -The clay seemed to take a while to COMPLETELY dry. I learned turning the model/sculpture after a day helps with drying. If the item’s position is not changed often, it will take a really long time for the bottom side to dry. -Once the model is dry it is pretty much hardened but not as hard as ‘normal’ baked clay. It is hard but I would say the hardness is along the lines of a little softer than hardened playdough that is left out to dry. Once the air dry clay is completely hardened (it took both of our figures at least a week to COMPLETELY dry) you can still use your fingernail and make an indentation in the model. Once they are completely dry they are REALLY lightweight, which was neat to my kids. -My son did accidentally break his and I was going to glue it and instead I got the idea to gentle wet the area with water and pressed the broken pieces together and it worked perfectly! Which is a nice little trick. This was a very small ‘antenna’ on the snail that broke so I’m unsure if this would work on a larger piece broken off. -Overall a great craft and could be fun for all ages.

Great sensory play
Perfect air-dry clay set for little kids to enjoy sensory and creative play. Comes with lots of colors and a helpful instruction book. The individual packaging can be tricky to open, but resealable bags are included for storage. Great gift and fun toy for kids.

Awesome
I got this to use to make mini "foods" for my doll house. Here is what I thought... Texture is soft, light, and overall nice. Seemed a bit dry feeling, (I'm used to using polymer clays). Water is the best glue for this product. If you find it a bit "dry and cracked like", you can add water by dipping you finger in a small container of water and adding it to the clay. Then work the clay until you find it works how you want. (This will help remove cracks). When building with it, like for me I was making a mini cake, I added just enough water to also pipe it in a piping tip. And when making the cake layers, I used a bit of water to get the layers to attach like a glue. This clay has endless possibilities. I did purchase a couple packages of mini snack/condiment containers with lids to store each color in and that has worked great for me. The price for what you get was rather decent. Honestly I think this will be perfect for all ages to work with. It is even easy on the hands for someone who has joint issues and struggle to use polymer clays. This is a nice alternative. But.. the weight difference of polymer clay when dried to this clay is big. The items when they dry are very very light. There is some shrinkage, but this is typical with all air-dry clays, but it's not much. I was able to also, once the clay was somewhat dry, add UV resin and cure the item in a UV light. (I made little tiny cherry and brownie tarts. The cherries are the air-dry clay, they were made, dried kinda, then added to the UV resin and cured with no issues). (Please use proper care when using UV resin however).

Works for what I wanted it for, but several colors were dried out
This product will work for what I needed it for, but there are a lot of things about it that were disappointing. PROS: Easy to shape, molds well. Light weight. Dries quickly. Lots of color options. Comes with nice shaping tools and little bags for storing the material after the original packages are open. The instructions are cute (didn't try to follow any yet though). Cheap. CONS: First of all, it's not clay at all. I'm sure it's only labeled that way to show up on searches. It's really more of a modeling foam. So if you're looking for clay specifically, look somewhere else. One color was completely dried out and unusable. At least five more bags were dried out enough that only half of it was able to be kept. Others still were a little stiff, meaning that it is more difficult to mold them, but still possible. The instructions say you can add water to soften it up if it gets too dry, and that kind of works, but it also makes the material slimy and makes it bleed color. Some of the colors did leave some color residue behind. It seems to be washable, but I would put something on top of your table where you're working just in case. 36 colors, and only one is red? This one is nitpicky as I was hoping to use red for my project and the only red color was half dried out, and more orangey than I wanted. Guess I'll have to use dark pink.

A ton of fun
This stuff is fantastic, its fun to build thobgs with or just play with for a few hours til it dries out. Its cheap enough that when it dries out we can just throw it away. It comes with extra baggies to store the clay in after you open it. This is my second box, its a lot of fun.

Nice and good
My daughter enjoyed doing figuring with this clay. No bad odour or irritation of skin. I would recommend this for children.

Yes, it is squishy
Just learning how to use it. Very light weight. It fits well in my decoration molds, gets detailed imprints and can be used immediately, no need to wait for it to dry up. The good thing is that it can be bent and glued the surface easily but do not press too hard - it will flatten under pressure. Ideal for some projects, less so for others but you need to experiment to find the best application for this medium.

Soft and Squishy
This stuff is a really nice soft texture and extremely satisfying to play with. I got it for slime and it makes the best buttery slime. When you let it dry it becomes a squishy foam which is also fun to play with

Horrible
The clay came and it’s not even the way it is supposed to be this time. Every other bag my son has ordered was fine but not these to bags. Can’t sculpt with them just like rubber both bags. Very disappointed as it was ordered for his birthday

Not for ornaments or long term use
This clay may be okay for kids to paint crafts for short term use, but if you’re planning on making hand or foot prints, Christmas ornaments, or anything to last long term, don’t buy this clay. It doesn’t dry hard or solid, it stays a very light and spongy texture that would probably be hard to paint.
