Costa Del Mar Mens Rinconcito Rectangular Sunglasses

Good afternoon ladies and gents, I give this item a 5.0!!! Who doesn't love Costa's. They are my go to for every activity. In fact, I have around 8 pair of sunglasses and 1 pair of prescription glasses. I know, why do I have these many sunglasses? Well, it is because they all have different uses. From my everyday glasses and driving glasses to my camping glasses, hunting glasses, fishing glasses, or needing to read the small print. Costa's should be your go to glasses as well. Let’s break it down from top to bottom. I am an avid backpacker, hiker, camper, scuba diver, just a huge adventurous woman. So, I am always purchasing new equipment. Well, whenever I can afford new things. LoL This product is a GREAT PRICE for what you get and that is a lot. Bag: The bag fits all items appropriately. It’s not heavy at all, actually really light. It fits in your bag perfectly and evenly. Ensuring your Costa's will not ruin. The bag is sturdy and is not easily torn or breakable. This is why it is GREAT for any ADVENTURE!!! Material: The material is amazing. It’s flexible and is easy to take care of. Nothing sticks to it and what I mean is the sand at the beach rolls off, tree limbs from camping have not ripped into it. These are ALL pro's for any adventure seekers. The material is light, flexible, and sturdy which is always a plus. Warranty: Costa Del Mar remains true to their word. If something happens to your glasses, they WILL fix them or replace them. Who could ask for more. In fact, I have had one of my sunglasses for over 5 years. They ended up breaking and since they were discontinued, Costa Del Mar let me pick out a pair of sunglasses and sent them to me at NO COST!!! Overall: I give it a 5.0, once you start wearing them, you will NEVER go back to whatever you were wearing before... Grab one and ENJOY!!!!

Great clarity. Fits well for me. Glasses got accidentally semi-crushed which popped out the lens but the frame survived and lens popped back in. I was pleasantly surprised.

I purchased the firework design frames version of this because they were on sale for $90. Lucky for me I actually like the design, brings a little flair to wearing them. The clarity with no glare is fantastic on these. I walked outside and literally forgot I was wearing sunglasses. They have decent with and wrap-around width to where it feels like I’m not wearing sunglasses. This brings me to how light they are. I’m used to wearing a heavier pair of Ray-Bans for the last 12 years so these initially felt very light. The frames felt a little cheap because of how light they are. Then after wearing them I realized that the light-weight feeing is actually a benefit. Less ear and nose fatigue over time. I just hope they hold up. The sunglasses feel like they grip to my face and head pretty well, I was sure how it’d be with the straight arms, but they have little grippy pads on the nose and arm tips to help keep them secure. Last thing and why I give 4 stars is because one of the arms does a minor click when I fold them, and only sometimes. Not sure why, and could be because they’re new, but it doesn’t hamper the functionality of these sunglasses. It bothered me at first but now I don’t even notice. They’re pretty great, especially for the price I got them at. If I wanted one thing, maybe just a tough more weight in the frames, but I might change my mind on that if these last me 12 years like my last pair of sunglasses.

I love the look of the Matte Tortise Shell and the green mirror lenses are awesome (cool but also subtle in low light). Visually, these glass lenses are on par with my Maui Jim’s and I’m now a huge fan of them and my new Costa’s. Costa seems to focus on fishing but the Rinconcito’s are great anywhere. They give an amber pop to everything whether walking around or driving. I have a medium face and these to be perfect- not too big, not too small. The side arms are wide enough to block light without being too wide. These look super stylish. Definitely recommend buying these if you’re on the fence.

These sunglasses were bought for someone with severe diabetic retinopathy and extreme sun sensitivity . They provide excellent protection from the harsh rays of the sun and allow the wearer to enjoy summer beach and outdoor time. They are stylish and effective. I am quite happy with this purchase!

These glasses look good and are comfortable. Unfortunately, they didn't even last 2 months. I kept them in the case that they came in and only wore them when I was outside in the bright sun for an outdoor activity. I probably wore them 10 times in 2 months. One time I wiped them with my soft shirt to clean them off, like I have on every pair of glasses I have ever owned, and the lens coating came right off. My shirt was covered in blue glitter from the material and the glasses were ruined. Naturally, since they were so new, I contacted Costa Del Mar and requested a warranty replacement because clearly no responsible company would build this into their product as a feature. The attached pictures are pretty clear that the lenses are undamaged, but the lens coating just rubbed off. Costa Del Mar simply replied with, "Upon evaluation of your claim, we have determined that the issue was not due to defective material or workmanship." Essentially, they confirmed that this is a normal feature of this product. At least they kindly gave me a 50% discount on my next pair of fragile plastic glasses. No thanks. Buy at your own risk.
