Smart Drive 90

Very good working kit. Has all of the driver sets that I require for gun repair. The screwdriver itself is nice, durable and has a light in it to ullimenate the work making a lot of things easier. It comes in a nice, durable case which is very portable. I would recommend this set to my friends and family.

I needed a high quality set to avoid marring when repairing my firearms. This set does the job extremely well. I was a little disappointed it was made in China, but it is not the usual garbage we get from there. The set is durable, accurate and does what I need, when I do my part by selecting the exact bit the job takes. I thought twice about returning the set for an American made set with fewer bits, but this set worked so well I didn't feel it would be right to return it. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied.

This set will replace all the random screwdrivers and other bits you have. You always have the proper size and the kit is very portable. Put this in your range bag; but you can use it for any purpose. The slotted heads are machined parallel so they do not have a tendency to jump out of the slot. This is high quality and highly recommended.

I do not do any gunsmith work. However, I do repair and restoration work on older electronic and optical equipment. These items, particularly if they pre-date the cross-slot or Allen screws or are/were made in Europe, they use slotted head screws. The hollow-ground bits in this set cover a very wide range of screw slot sizes and the better fit results in far fewer damaged screw heads as you get with conventional taper-ground screwdrivers. The slotted head screws in antique instruments can be very hard to replace if damaged, so preserving them is worth the cost of better screwdrivers.

Only reason I did not give this set a 5 star rating is because of the worthless light feature on the screwdriver. If you played with it enough it would momentarily light. Light on your work area is a great feature. Not a deal breaker for me but I sure would love to see that screwdriver light up when you want it to. Therefor I can not recommend it to anyone else.

Good tools. Had one bit shatter when using called real avid, I thought it was over hardened, called on a Thursday and received 2 as replacement on Monday. Great support!

Must have for gun owner

I am just like you, and had no idea that many sloted screws vary in width and this set addresses those issues and ensuring slipping mitigation as to not score or scratch finished surfaces. Also helping with all of the different Hex/Torx and Phillips sizes and depths. This is the set I didn't even know I needed but wow what a difference when working on small or complex engineered guns or gadgets.
