5303918214 Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat

My freezer was not working properly. I decided to way my options and was lucky enough to find this. 5 months later it’s holding the correct temperature and working great! It was easy to install and fits perfectly for my freezer. I was worried that it may not be the right one but everything is working how it should. Instead of having to buy another refrigerator I was able to find this and it fixed all my issues ! It was shipped out quickly thankfully so I was able to get it right in without losing any food! It was worth a shot and I’m glad I was able to find this because it was a lot cheaper then having to replace my refrigerator and worth the money

I received part in mail, placed in my freezer, nothing happened. I took NEW part out and tested it, nothing!! I never thought a new part should be tested before placement. Your product changed my mind!!! The cost to send back is almost as much as the part itself, so not going to go through all that trouble; however, I want you to know what I thought. I have reordered same part from different supplier. Laura Szilasi I would like to apologize for my thoughts on your product. I was wrong and I’m sorry. I purchased this product for an 84-year-old individual to keep their medications cold. Although it was listed as available for next-day delivery, unfortunately, Amazon lost the package, resulting in the need to reorder. I don't believe this was an issue with the vendor, but rather an unfortunate mishap with the shipping process. Once the product arrived, installing the main part was straightforward. However, I encountered an issue with the heat shrink tubing, as it did not fully cover the electrical connections as expected. I would recommend either opting for smaller shrink tubing or using electrical tape that can withstand cold temperatures to ensure proper insulation of the connections. Overall, while there were some challenges with the delivery and installation process, I believe this product serves its purpose well and would recommend it with the aforementioned considerations in mind.

If you're handy with electrical things and are careful when installing things in general, you'll be fine. No instructions or schematics came with the product, but that didn't worry me. It's a good thing that the item pictured matched the faulty item cause the ordered item identity or part # didn't match the one I had to replace. However, since the price was lowest I found it was worth the risk. It's been 8 weeks now since the installation and we're still good.

This wasn't even supposed to work on my model and yet it fixed my issue completely with my fridge. So pleased. Great product!

Perfect replacement

Worked. Fit my Frigidaire fridge. Note, the defrost issue (ice build up) can also be caused by a stuck (bad) defrost timer.

What can I say? This part broke, my freezer wasn't defrosting. Took out the old one, put this one in, and a few days later, no more ice buildup. Awesome!
