This is the standard measurement for the weight of any towel. It refers to density. Heavier towels are softer and more absorbent. The normal weight can vary between 300 GSM and 900 GSM. Any towel above 600 GSM is a premium, luxury product. Zero Twist for the best touch. The yarn has very little twist per inch, making it very open, soft and bulky. 100% extra-long-staple cotton, highly absorbent . Wash them separately in the washing machine with cold water and mild detergent. Tumble dry normal immediately. The de-twisting action decreases the time it takes the towel to dry after use or washing. Please, wash them before first use. They will get fluffier and softer with each wash. Never use any bleach or fabric softeners. This towel has double side hemstitching to keep the side hems from coming loose. Great Quality
Received this set with a cute bow. I washed them upon receipt. They washed well, remained soft and color in tact. The towel is full bidy coverage for someone with a full body! Wash towel is ample. Enjoy

Beautiful towels!
These are just wonderful. I love everything about them. They are well made, no evident shrinkage, lint is minimal, and thick and soft. I can't imagine finding anything better in a linen store. Highly recommend. I bought the teal.

VERY soft, VERY absorbant... feels great. Cloth fraying with 1st wash, but only a little
A neighbor gave me a NICE towel 2 years back (800+ gsm) and it became our favorite. I bought this set to fill out our bathroom with a few of the same. The VERY luxurious, soft and very drying feel is all there, love the color. 2 thoughts: the first 3-4 washes are going to FILL your lint filter in your drier- remember to empty it, every time. Also- the fabric is showing some tufts here and there, right away. That said- they are very nice and are a big upgrade from our other towels. If they hold up for a few years, it's a great set!! I'll update the review if they don't :)

These towels are worth every penny. They are soft and absorbent. They wash well and did not pill. I will buy more of these.

Large, full and soft
We love these towels. They are nice and big! Very soft and full. They did shred after being washed but they were still perfect. Very good purchase at a great price.

Wonderful...to start with...then???
After the first careful washing, these towels were wonderful...thick, heavy, and very absorbent. The washcloths were relative small and thin, but that's okay. We had no color bleed on washing, and figured we'd made a wonderful purchase for the price. Had I written the review then, it would have been 5's across the board. Fast-forward to the third washing, and the dryer lint trap is still filled with fluff, and the towels are demonstrably lighter in weight and less absorbent. It's as if we'd had them for a year-plus. We're hopeful that they will stop shedding cotton and be good serviceable towels for several years at least, but we're not so sure now. I'll update this as necessary if the quality continues to go downhill.

Great towels.
I love these towels! They are as described, absorbent, so very soft and they did well in the washer and dryer. Nothing better than a product that lives up to the company’s statement.

Nice quality towels
Towels have a nice, heavy weight and are soft and absorbent. They are are a good size and I liked the color selection. They came through the first wash very well, with very little shedding of lint.

Disappointing Quality
I liked the colour and was impressed by the Spa quality description; this is a picture this picture is only the second time they have been washed and as you can see the threads are coming from all of them even the face cloth. I have just washed my second identical set and they are the same really not worth the price .
