Very good phone
First of all I will point out this is a heavy phone and you can feel it. The screen make you feel like the phone is enormous but comparing to old phone almost the same size. It is just simply all screen!!! On first thoughts (haven't even owned for 24hr) it is a very good phone. I have been HTC fanboy for the last decade but now they have lost their way. I have never liked the Samsung touchwiz hence not going there. For android this is clean no rubbish and no complicated stuff. Everything is just smooth fast and if your into movies on your phone transfer speeds are crazy. As for the camera I am not one for taking photos and if you want loads get a decent camera in my view. In terms of the figure reader I have had very little issue, basically, I am trying to use part of my figure I didn't register. The art is don't press too hard light touch. As long as you hold it right, it opens every time. Now this phone is lacking wifi charging but for this price and what is has you will lose something, we'll in this case wifi charging. About time oneplus did stereo sound from the phone but still shamefully the sound still is not quite there to what I am used to but still now bad for what poky speakers can do from a compact phone. So if you don't want to spend stupid money (this phone price was already pushing my boundaries) you won't be upset. Easy thing is think what you want from a phone al look at each one. For me happy customer.

Super quick, beautiful display, reasonable price
Went from the one plus 5t to this phone and what an upgrade. A lot faster, refresh rate on the screen is noticeably quick when you're scrolling through pages or reading the news. Screen to bezel ratio is practically non existent. 8gb of ram seems more than enough for what you will be doing day to day on a phonem unless you're editing video or are a prolific gamer you won't need much more than this. Price point is quite high but very fair when compared to other flagship phones at the moment. It's nice to see an affordable price on a phone that has a lot of incredible features. Camera pop up is a bit of a gimmick but you get used to it very quickly, in my opinion it's very much worth it when it means you don't have anything to block this very large screen. Watching videos on this is a dream. Quite large in size but fits into a pocket nicely, I would recommend a thinner case to keep the profile as small as possible. Have had no issue with battery life and it's hard to fault when you can charge the phone up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. All in all, great phone if you're looking to spend a bit extra but not as much as the current flagships

Superb for battery life, operating speed, screen and style. Too heavy and lacks some things.
I've had a few weeks to get used to the 7 Pro and it really scores on speed - it's a very, very quick machine - I have the 16GB RAM option and it's worth the extra to have it. Everything from wifi and bluetooth to the camera are really outstanding for the price and particular praise must be given to the screen, which is beautiful and performs really well and to the battery, which is just a marvel for such a capable smart platform. My two main gripes are the weight - I knew from reviews that it was going to be heavier, but it is a bit too heavy for casual use and at times feels like something too heavy to keep up in front of you - I'm a not particularly strong male in my early 60s and found the weight vexing. The other main issue is the lack of external peripheral support - so it doesn't have a plug in slot for an audio cable, a major failing (again, I expected it, but it still bothers) and no support for SD cards. That's a shame too, I suppose given the very large memory and storage, combined with fast cloud service use, it's seen as a lower priority now, but at times you miss it. Generally a very impressive smartphone though, with the above exceptions. The design of the screen moves is a little bit novel but you get used to them fairly quickly. Also of course the phone is a lot cheaper than similar offerings from the two main market players, making it pretty competitive. And it has stellar fingerprint recognition, which makes quite a difference to everyday use weariness.

Amazing value
I went from a Oneplus 3t to this 7 pro and the jump in quality is incredible. But the best part is the price. If you trade in your old phone like I did (got ยฃ70 for it so in the end the phone was ยฃ300 roughly), this is an INCREDIBLE value for what you get. This was the flagship from Oneplus not long ago. Has an incredible screen (with no notch or hole punch) and it's very fast and smooth. Build quality is solid and the phone looks stunning. The pop-out camera is cool too and I've had no issues or concerns with it so far. The only real issues I've had with this are that the fingerprint sensor can take a few tries sometimes (this only happens on my left thumb but the rest of my fingers seem ok so your mileage may vary). Also, the battery life isn't the best but it charges to quickly that it's not really a problem as long as you keep your charger nearby. Nevertheless, If you're after an incredible phone at an incredible price, this is one to go for!

Second only to the OnePlus 7T Pro, in my opinion
To be honest, it's almost perfect - couldn't find any faults with the phone, or the accessories, except for the pre-applied plastic screen protector, as it has a little bubble right on the right corner, but it can be hidden for a while if you press it away. But then again, this will be different for everyone, and it may have been because of me applying the included case the wrong way or something like that. The software's still the best, keeping most of Google's features, while giving unparalleled smoothness and responsiveness (the 90Hz screen certainly helps, but it's still unmatched on the regular 7, which has 60Hz). If I could ask for anything, I'd love to finally get a Always-on option, and a Pro mode for video. If you factor in design, performance, features, value and user experience, this may very well be the best smartphone of 2019, along with the ever-so-slightly upgraded 7T Pro.

Screen is burnt.
Not as described. The screen is burnt with the dredded red glow. Have sent back for refund and still have not refunded. Very disappointed. Both with Amazon and the seller.

Great cheaper alternative to the leading brand
Had an issue with the screen on my first one. Finger print recognition didn't work and eventually ended up with a red lining running vertically through it. OnePlus took a couple of attempts to be helpful but once I got through to someone who had their head switched on and gave me a code, which in turn meant Amazon also become very helpful (prior to that I just kept being told by Amazon to factory re-set!!). Phone is great now. My last 3 phones have been OnePlus and I really like them. Similar spec to iPhones but much cheaper. Cameras are great. This 7pro is a big phone but I'm ok with that. It's a nice design and works as I need it to. What more can you ask for?

All around for me the best phone atm
Great great great screen really nice screen to body ratio. The phone has a really premium feel in hand it might be a just too big but what you get from that screen really worths for that.its not as heavy as they say to be at least for me and the fact that there is no notch is something great. It works so so so smooth haven't experienced even a tiny bit of lag.Watching YouTube or Netflix or playing games is really at another level alongside with really good stereo sound. If wireless charging and 3.5 mm jack absence don't bother you well then you better pick this phone over ANY other right now ๐

Phone is awesome
So I came from a google pixel xl 1. There is some slight getting used to oxygen os but it's not too too different. One of the main things I notice is the lack of finger print reader on the back which I soon forgot about since the finger print reader in the screen is super quick --- I will talk about this further down. It's extremely snappy and the screen is amazing to look at with 60 hz and even better at 90 hz. One thing I like a lot is that you can pull down on an empty part of the screen to to accomplish the same you would with the pixel by pulling down on the fp reader on the back or down from the top edge of the screen. Ok so when I bought the phone and tried to set up my fingerprint, it would save it, but when I tried to unlock it would not work because it has a factory installed, and very hard to see screen protector film. I did not know this and it took calling Oneplus, Amazon, and Oneplus again. The first call, the guy dismissed it as a hardware problem and said I'd have to return to Amazon...I was like how is that Amazon's problem...Oneplus made the phone...you are responsible. Amazon tried to help me and they called Oneplus on my behalf and they said the same thing. So I called Oneplus again and Shae answered the phone and she was literally an angel. She helped me walk through all the steps of factory resetting (Which I already knew how to do, but I obliged in case i was missing something). After being on the phone with her for an hour we finally figured out the dang screen protector was still on the phone. I took it off and boom the fp scanner worked like a charm. They sent me 2 complimentary screen protectors and they covered shipping. I hate those things though and got dust in both of them and bubbles in them so I got pissed off and threw them away. I rock my phone without a screen protector and carry a pocket knife (the ak-47 by cold steel, the full size one) and the dang phone doesn't have any crazy scratches on it so f it, i'm going commando on the screen.

Incredible Phone!
Incredit Phone for the price. This is my first OnePlus phone and I will continue to buy their products. I opted for the 12GB/256 version and this is by far the best and fastest phone I have ever had. Functionality is smooth and fluid. The Oxygen OS is awesome! So many cool little customizable features that I kept finding. Battery life is perfect, I get about 30-36 hours before I need to charge I use it casually, web searching, social media, music, photos, occasional gaming, etc. The only issue I had has nothing to do with the phone itself, but with Verizon and there lack of experienced tech support. Make sure when you switch the SIM card from your old phone to this phone that you write down the SIM card number that is on the SIM card itself because Verizon will need to know this in order to properly enter the phone and activate it in their system. It will still work otherwise except you may experience issues with service like I did. I could make and recei calls, I could send text but xout not receive text. I was on the phone for hours with Verizon and they kept asking me to looking in the settings to get the SIM card number, but I could not find a place in the phone that tells me the SIM card number. I finally spoke to someone who told me that the SIM card number is on the SIM card itself, so I pulled the SIM out, wrote down the number, gave it to the Verizon tech support guy and BOOM phone started working flawlessly. If you buy this and expert service issues, don't be quick to blame the phone or OnePlus. Keep contacting your wireless provider. The phone is totally wireless ready and compatible with major carriers.
