Good compact thumper amp for a mid-level setup
Made crazy waves in the neighborhood for the price haha, I did have some trouble with setting it up but I absolutely chalk it up to user error. Nice sleek finish, neat little remote knob, only gone into protection mode once when playing a certain song on full volume so I'd say it can withstand a lot. Improved my cars sound system quality by 1000x.

Amps hit or miss.
Purchased a 2 channel previously and it works great. Purchased the 600-watt mono this time for my subs. First off it was not the v2 as stated. Number on it was VADM1. My 2-channel amp does have the v2 at the end. So, this is obviously a first gen amp, not the one I purchased. It worked ok at first, had great sounding bass, wasn't close to the rms wattage at 2 ohms as stated in the manual and in description. Next day I went to leave and noticed I had no bass. Checked my speaker connections and realized it was sending out way too much power. When I touched the wire to the connector it sparked and literally fused the wire to the clip. That sub when played at low levels on my old amp now has a weird noise and I am going to have to replace it. These amps seem to be hit or miss.

It works!
This thing is tiny! Using it in a RZR. It work well with a sub.

For its size.... pretty dang good.
Good little amp. Make sure you have a rock solid ground or it will not work. Thought I had a good ground through the seat bolts (ground them down and sand papered) but nope. Had to go right to the frame before this little guy would start to work for me.

Powerful and clean but goes into protect and gets hot
Just installed it pushing 1 Skar Audio SVR8 in a ported box. Hits hard and plays clean but it gets really hot and often goes into protection mode and stays even if I shut off the system and turn on again. Only way to reset it is to remove the power fuse for about 10 minutes and replace it. Itโs very irritating having to do this every time. I would not recommend or buy this amp again. A lot of other reviews mention it gets hot and going into protection mode.

Great power and sound!
Using this amp to drive 2 Rockwood K9 6.5 sub-woofers wired to 1 ohm on my boat. Sound amazing and puts out good power. The only complaint I have about the amp is the mounting screws on the bracket on the power side are horribly placed. Not possible to screw in without removing the bracket from the amp first which is a poor design and tedious. Not to mention very difficult in the small place that I mounted the amp in. I managed to pre-run the wires through the bracket on the one end and mount the bracket then screw the bracket back on to the amp. Not recommended to do with the wires being live connected to the battery though as would be easy to create a short since the bracket is metal. Other than that I absolutely love the power and size of the amp. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Just hope the improve the mounting bracket on next version. Does get a little warm to the touch after a while on full volume , but not super hot.

Surprising little weather tough amp!
This thing is tiny! And it drives a sub very well. I installed it inside the center console of my Jeep TJ. I am running a single 10" sub in a closed cabinet behind the back seat. Sound is full and tight. More than loud enough. I'm very, very pleased wit this thing. It's marine rated, so it should stand up to a bit of top-off weather. My speaker is single voice coil, 4 ohm. This thing would probably drive a pair at 2 ohms easily. Great buy.

Great for toasting subwoofers
Pros: Small form factor, lots of power for the size Install notes: the speaker wire terminals were not intuitive, and I nearly stripped them out trying to figure out how to get the wire in there. The install was a while ago, so i dont remember what it was, but it was something like they were all the way out from factory, or all the way in, either way when i turned them i was turning them the wrong way. You also have to remove the end-piece bezel in order to get access to the terminal screws as it overlaps just enough to make it not accessible. Seems like a design flaw to me. Cons: The unit lasted about 3 months until it toasted my subwoofer. I had this powering the Toyota Prius 10" NVX subwoofer, which is notoriously poor quality, so I assumed that it was the subwoofer that died. I replaced it with a high-quality JBL sub from Crutchfield, and the first power-on toasted that as well! I hooked up a voltmeter to the speaker wires and sure enough, this amplifier is sending 12.4 volts directly to the speaker at all times. The "Fault mode" indicator is reading normal, no fuses blown, the internals of the am seem to be totally out of sorts, as even without any signal passing through the amp its sending a constant 12.4 volt to the speaker wires.
