Sevigny's Thin Ribbon Candy - Made in USA. 9 Oz. Box, (2 Pack)

The candy is pretty. It starts out feeling like a hard candy but quickly goes to a very sticky feel. We were able to kind of suck on it into a ball and eat it by sucking on it so it didn’t get terribly stuck in the teeth. Lots of different flavors, all of which were yummy. I saved a box to give as a gift. It had some breaking but that’s to be expected. It was still pretty enough to open.

Candy is delicious...however when delivered and I saw the crushed box I knew it wasn't going be what I was expecting. Shaking the box confirmed it the product was damaged. I ordered two boxes there was not a single Ribbon that survived. Everything was in itty bitty Pieces. Tasted the same but absolutely No Presentation value. I will now only Purchase Ribbon Candy in a store so I can shake it to see if any rattle. Again the candy is delicious, but disappointed in condition.l

I received these today on a I wanna try something different whim, and I really enjoyed them :) contrary to other comments I think they aren't too thick at all and snap when you bite them and have a nice crunch. Unfortunately they did break during transport because of this, that they are in fact thin, but the flavors are all good and exactly what you'd expect from fruit hard candy. They are tart and tangy and sweet and I love it! The only downside I can think of is they are very sticky as in they stick to your teeth repeatedly while chewing but that's to be expected. 5 stars and I'll buy these again :)

Ribbon Candy quality was awful. When box opened it was more than obvious that candy was held in less than sanitary conditions in a warehouse. Ribbon Candy was smashed, was swollen as if wet then heated, disgusting. No refunds allowed- however it was expensive $20.00 for 2 boxes.

Perfect size

This is one of my favorite ways to decorate dessert platters. I place a ribbon everywhere when I’m decorating for the holidays. I’m not a fan of hard candy so I can’t review the taste but it’s a beautiful tradition to have in my dessert table. Unfortunately these candies are hard to ship and break easily. Most were broken upon arrival. I would still purchase them in the future because they are so pretty!

If you want the candy in one piece find it local somehow, cause this comes shattered, I guess amazon delivery side has no clue should be fragile. ordered 2 of what I didnt realize was a two pack, so I have four boxes of broken candy. I honestly dont know if packing bubbles would have made a difference. In my mind I see the looney toons gorilla beating the suitcases to death. On the positive side, the candy is very good and we will still use it for parties.

I’m not one for knocking stuff but if care was taken for packaging the candies would have shown up fuller than the shards they were. It’s not Amazon’s fault. The package inside is super flimsy and when I read the box it even says something along the lines of the product most likely not making it through shipping to ease the receiving on my end. With times as tight as they are for me, reading that off the package felt more like, “Thanks for your purchase. It’s broken. You’re welcome.” The only other thing that was a surprise to me as a first time buyer is that the box tells you the possible contents, being the flavors and underneath it, they specify that it’s a random assortment in italics. One box of the two pack was all cinnamon. Lets just say I’ll wait to open the other. The candies were nice enough for a festive addition to the day but even they looked less like they did 30 years ago. I guess that’s all things though. If you need something colorful for your table or add to your hot cocoa, these were good for that. I don’t recommend giving them to children though. They were so broken that I couldn’t really use it for anything else than melting.

Beautifully packaged and the box comes with a warning that the ribbon candy may be broken, because it's so fragile. It's not as thin as I remembered it being, but it's very tasty. Each one is a different flavour and I love it. Thank you for selling it on Amazon! Tis the season for it. Updated. 2025. Bought this again. This time, it looks like it's broken even before it was delivered, because of how the candy is stuck together. It's not as fresh as it was last year. I think it's definitely something that is bought once a year and I don't highly recommend it. It's something that you can decide if you want to try it out and not use it as a gift.

Do NOT order this. $56. for two boxes of broken and sticky candy. Also NOT thin. I was telling my children and grandchildren that one of the things I liked about going to my grandparents place at Christmas is that they always had a box of ribbon candy. They had no idea what that was. So I thought I would order some for Christmas this year…… I will NOT share this with them, it’s nothing like the thin crunchy wonderful ribbon candy I had as a child.

They arrived all brock but they are taste good
