As (I think) the majority of us here, I bought these to plug my new Grohe 3/8" kitchen tap to my 1/2" pipework.The two connectors came packed in individual sealed plastic bags. Surprisingly, one of them had a black rubber washer for the 1/2" male connection while the other didn't. The washer was useless in my case as it was too thin to provide enough seal anyway. So I grabbed a pair of thicker washers from my toolbox and a roll of PTFE and get on with the job.The 3/8" connections to the tap ends worked greatly; simple hand-tightening the hose nuts was enough to create a watertight connection. The things were slightly more complicated on the 1/2" ends. The amount of PTFE that I normally use (6-7 turns) was not even close enough: the connections kept leaking enthusiastically. I had to do at least twice as that (12-15 turns) to make my connections watertight.I wouldn't hesitate to give these little things 5 stars if I only had one issue with them (i.e. either a missing washer or overconsumption of PTFE - but not both).

Bought this to allow me to use my standard airline fittings on a mis-purchased extension hose with much larger ends. Just the job.

The product is excellent will buy more but the listing says and shows they come a rubber seal/gasket but my 2 did not which meant a trip to the plumbing shop

Ordered this for a Grohe tap in order to connect to the UK spec pipes. Had no issues at all despite reading some negative reviews. The thread works perfectly and there was a washer included to ensure no leaks. Make sure you get the washer flush otherwise you'll need to make an adjustment. Recommend you screw these onto the pipe first then attach the tail pipes from the tap. No complaints from me. If anything it was the tail pipes on the tap itself that I had to wrestle with. But these adaptors were spot on.

This should really be included in the Amazon air hose reel kit as they got their description wrong in starting the reel was 1/4 BSP. It’s actually 3/8 BSP… so this works to attach the hose male 3/8 BSP to a standard compressor 1/4 outlet
