I installed the PMD on a remote heat sink and plugged it in and it is working perfectly.

Lasted one start up then right back to running like crap. Buy a good one and save the headache

Direct replacement/works for a 6.5TD
I was having hard-start and eventually a no-start condition on my 1994 K2500 Detroit 6.5 TD. I replaced the PMD with a new spare I keep as a backup (as every 6.5 owner should) but that PMD (chinese-made low-cost) failed quickly. I recently bought this one and swapped it out, and the truck fired right up. This is made in China, so I'm setting the bar low. By comparison, the more expensive US made PMD that was replaced, lasted 6+years. This part will likely get you by, only install issue was the screws not working with the heat sink. Otherwise, 2 weeks later and so far, so good.

Just after 90 day warranty,it dies
Worked well for 91 days, 1 day over the warranty...so I guess I'm outta luck...
