This Is a great dress. Comfortable, soft, lightweight, good quality. Flattering shape and hang.

Okay, so this dress is soft and such a pretty shade of burgundy. It works perfectly for me, but there are a couple things other buyers may need to know:1) I’m 5’3 and this dress, after being washed, is ankle length, not floor length. Not a problem for me, but maybe for some people.2) the reason I have already washed this dress is because when it arrived it had the stinkiest chemical smell on it, that clung to me after I tried it on. I washed it in a cold rinse cycle and then a normal cold wash cycle (for delicates). Now it smells great, but this may have contributed to the length.3) it fits pretty tight on my torso (I wear a 34D bra) but with a tank underneath should still be pretty modest.4) it is not see-throughFor the price and ease of purchase, this dress definitely fits my needs! My husband loves it also.

Nice construction and very soft. Had to return as it was entirely too big for my petite frame (5’2”). About 6 inches too long. Sleeves seemed shorter than I expected as well. Overall, felt frumpy and not worth hemming to correct length.

Hi, Clothing at Amazon was a nice surprise. This was made well and the fit is perfect. 5'6, 170 LBS, got a L. Only issue is that the waist is not quite low enough to be at the waist and not high enough to be empire....so looks like I either have large stomach or am pregnant. I'm going to look for another style in same Amazon Brand.......and would love pockets.

This is a great black maxi dress. Has a nice neck line . Short flattering sleeves. Extremely comfortable. My normal size is large and I tend to buy clothes xl because I like a loose fit.This dress I originally bought xl and was too big. The size m is a perfect fit. My height is 5 ft 3.5 inches and my weight is 165 - 170 . I am delighted with this dress. The first dress I tried to wash in hot water and dry completely hoping it would srink. The dress did not srink at all . I hemed the dress with iron on tape . Now I wear the first dress around the house . If you like a lose fit buy your size . If you like a slightly lose fit go down a size . If your height is under 5ft 3inches and you do not wear heals you might need to hem .

This is a perfect casual, summer dress. It didn’t wrinkle when I packed it in my beach bag. It is a comfortable fabric, even when it’s hot. I just ordered two more in different colors.

I'm 5'7", "apple" shaped and normally wear a size 16 top. I ordered an XL. It hits me somewhere between my waist and chest but isn't quite empire and looks horrible. Not good if you carry your weight in your stomach! Would be a great fit if you were pear shaped. Fabric also appears to be that same cheap fabric that most inexpensive clothes on amazon are made of. Looks great for the first few washings and then turns into a pilly, staticky nightmare. Definitely will only last one season if that and is very thin.

This is what you call a plus size friendly dress! This material is our bestfriend anyway but the cut is perfection. I wore this over my bathing suit at the beach but honestly it can be dressed up or down. Great dress, great quality. It’s a must buy!!!!

I am a size 22, but as there are no corresponding U.K sizes to the xl, xxl, 3/4xl etc that have been used, I bought the largest size available. I could have got away with a smaller size, but for me personally it's better to be too big than too small. But I've altered it, and now it fits me perfectly. It's a nice simple, elegant dress and with the gathered waist is flattering for my size. I'm 5.5 and with small heels the hem just grazes my toes. My only gripe and the reason for dropping a * is that there are no pockets. But I've remedied that by cutting up an old black t shirt, making the pockets, and fitting them into the side seams. On the whole, I'm very pleased.

Love the dress. It sits just at my ankles (5' 7'') Sizing is generous, so I could have sized down but I like it this way. The material is a medium-weight soft and stretchy jersey. Beautiful dark green colour.

I love this dress! Simple and elegant, great for casual wear or can even be dressed up a little. The length is just right for me, just above the ankles and I am 5.7. So pleased that I have just come on to Amazon to buy in another colour and it’s not available - so disappointed and I hope they come back in stock again soon.

Dislike was it creases so easy it came all creased up

Perfectly sized, very good material, beautiful color (jade green). The elastic sewn a little higher above the waist optically slims the figure. I am very pleased, I recommend it.
