Accurate Product, Great Value, Worked for me.
I recently had misfiring code displaced on my 2001 Honda Accord. I changed the spark plus and coiled, but this did not solve the issue. So I decided that I needed to check the compression on my cylinders to find out if I had a more serious engine problem. I bought this compression tester because it was American made and had a reasonable price. I tested all 4 cylinder compressions with this tool. All cylinders averaged 175 PSI or better. I tested each cylinder twice to ensure that the results were repeatable. So I now know that that compression is great on my car's engine and it is not the problem for the misfire. Though this hasn't solved my misfire problem it has eliminated a potential major problem. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to do this test. This is a great product and a welcome addition to my tool library.

Ready to go right out the box, good quality and price
The item itself came with an attachment to allow for both testing compression of 14 and 18mm threading. I was able to quickly thread it in, get the measurement of compression, and move on to the next spark plug with no fuss. It is of sturdy build, easily readable, and feels like it will last. I just wish it came with a different way to store it after opening the packaging, it was wrapped with a (albeit a decent quality) rubber band.

Has the Schroeder valve near the tip.
This is a good gauge -- it has the Schroeder valve near the tip of the line. I have no way of knowing how accurate it is -- when I tested the compression on my chain saw, I got a Lower reading from this gauge than I did with my Ancient compression tester. I don't which one to believe.

Works perfectly and is just as accurate much cheaper as my snap on.

Great Quality
This is a quality tool and is a good value for the money. Well constructed and sturdy, it worked fine for me. With headers and all getting the threads started was a bit difficult on some of the cylinders but that is no reflection on the tool. The only thing that would be nice is if it came in a case to protect the tool. Other than that I am very happy with the tester! Thank Yiou!

Comparing to Chinese this gauge shows much higher PSI
I find this gauge is more accurate then Chinese. This one shows 195-200PSI when Chinese shows 150-155PSI. I feel that this gauge is more accurate.

Good value
Works pretty good. The gauges feel a little cheap but they work. When they go bad I'll replace with good fluid filled gauges. I lay them out straight because if the hoses have a bend in them, they are harder to get started in 3400's because of the long spark plug tube. Will probably end up putting quick disconnects and have longer hoses made for our bigger engins

Good Accurate Gauge
Good to have a compression gauge that reads accurate i had another brand from Autobahn that read 40 psi low so i am happy to have a Lisle Gauge which reads correct and would recommend Lisle to anyone
