Revolutionize Brake Maintenance: Phoenix V-12, the One-Person Bleeder Kit
I recently purchased the Phoenix Systems (2003-B) V-12 Reverse Brake & Clutch Bleeder Kit as part of a full brake booster/master cylinder replacement. In general, this will revolutionize my vehicle maintenance routine in the long term as it truly allows a single person to bleed the system of those pesky air bubbles. No more "pump, pump, pump... hold" directives to your annoyed spouse or child! As someone who takes pride in performing my own repairs and maintenance, finding tools that are efficient and effective is critical. This kit fits the bill perfectly, making brake and clutch bleeding a straightforward, one-person job. What stands out about this kit is its reverse bleeding technology. This feature ensures that air is pushed out of the brake lines from the bottom up, which is the most effective way to remove trapped air and prevent spongy brakes. The difference in brake responsiveness after using this kit is night and day. Knowing I'm achieving a professional-level bleed with minimal effort is reassuring. The quality of the components is top-notch. Each piece feels durable and well-made, designed to withstand regular use without compromising performance. The hard case is a thoughtful touch, keeping all the parts organized and protected, which is essential for someone who likes to keep their tools in working order. What I appreciate most about the V-12 Reverse Brake & Clutch Bleeder Kit is its versatility. It is incredibly convenient to be able to work on a wide range of vehicles without needing additional tools or assistance. This kit saves time and money, considering the cost of professional servicing. This tool was critical to getting this repair done in a pinch and saving over $1,000. Even for standard maintenance, it pays for itself in the first use. The last time my dealer bled the brakes on my wife's SUV - the total was over $310.Using the kit is surprisingly simple, thanks to clear instructions and a user-friendly design. Phoenix Systems has put a lot of thought into making this kit accessible to DIY enthusiasts without sacrificing the quality of the bleed. The efficiency of being able to bleed the brakes or clutch by myself, without the hassle of coordinating with a second person, cannot be overstated. In conclusion, the Phoenix Systems (2003-B) V-12 Reverse Brake & Clutch Bleeder Kit is an outstanding addition to any DIY mechanic's arsenal. Its efficiency, quality, and ease of use make it worth the investment. Whether you're an experienced mechanic or just starting to take vehicle maintenance into your own hands, this kit will not disappoint. I recommend this for anyone looking to streamline their brake maintenance process and achieve professional results.

V-12 Zero help on the help
Purchased the PhoenixV-12 brake bleeding system in hopes that it would make it easier to bleed my brakes? After reading the instructions manual, the system never did work correctly? After calling the phoenix help line 😂 I got zero help, wanted me to email someone?? I called them the day before asking to return my call maybe help me understand if their system had lots of trouble or maybe just the one I purchased? So after this experience I will not be purchasing the Phoenix system again!! I took it to the firehouse, ask several firefighters and other people if they used this system and so far no luck? Guess Ill stay with bleeding brakes the way Ive been doingbit for 40 yrs👍

Technically works
This does work, first off. It does exactly what it claims to do. It just does it in a really messy way that I don't think really saves you any time once you're done cleaning up your mess. I like it for certain applications though. I was hoping I could reverse bleed the clutch in my Ranger, however the way the bleeder screw is designed you can't get anything on there with a good seal. A few months later I overheated my brakes and this worked really well for that. I was by myself and I wanted to ensure I got all the old fluid out. So I pumped, then used a syringe to empty the reservoir, and kept doing this until the black fluid was gone and all I got out was clear. I liked using this kit in this instance because I was able to work alone without worrying about getting air into the lines. After using it the first time and creating a huge mess, before getting started I put down absorbent mats. Using those, or a blanket/tarp is essential when using this kit.All in all, it does work and the quality is good. Some people broke the gun I noticed. If you take your time I don't see that being an issue to be honest. My only complaint is the cost, I don't think it's worth it. If you are thinking about getting this, I might suggest getting the cheaper version, although I think the plastic used to construct the gun might be different. If this kit was closer to a hundred bucks I could give it more stars, but as-is I think this tool is just okay.

Certainly the best way to get rid of the trapped air.
Reverse bleeding is a great idea. This had lots of adapters included so we found one that worked for a clutch slave. The pump action was very hard and kind of awkward. we finally used a pump tank like a garden sprayer which was easier to pump.
