Great value bit set. They are very sharp and have drilled through everything up to .25” steel so far. I would definitely buy them again.

Very good. High quality drill bids. I would buy them again when need it. Easy completed small project by drilling 15-20 holes in 1/8'' thick material, using only one bid. It's steel as sharp as when I have started to drill.

I found these drills to be outstanding in low carbon steel - easily out performing the brand purchased from my local “home improvement “ store. I am knowledgeable about cutting tool design - and given my high level of satisfaction I thought I should offer some details to support my 5 star review. 1 first use : the drills were stable in cut and made accurate sized holes and required minimum feed force 2. Close review: these drills have well manufactured tip grinds. I have found many drills have poor relief grinds ( behind cutting edge) or poor lip to lip run-out - both of which cause instability and poor chip morphology when in cut. Easily identified under magnification but can be simply observed with significant heat generated in cut to the workpiece. ( a properly made drill applied with correct feeds and speeds will impart more heat to the chips produced) The flutes are also polished. This allows the chips to easily flow out from behind the cutting edge. I highly recommend.

Work fine for me so far. I was dismayed to see on the cover a list of metals on which I should NOT use these drills, some of which look like very popular metals I may need to drill. Moreso since I lack the expertise needed to distinguish the "bad" types of steel from any other types of steel. Though, for the price, paying for any mistakes I may make will not be tragic

I have always run to Home Depot to pick up bits. But these are the sharpest most durable bits I have ever purchased. DeWalt and Milwaukee can't even compare.

I bought these drill bits in 1/8 1/4 and 6.5mm for drilling out stainless steel rivets. They worked very well. Drill at slow speed for best results on SS. The 1/8 size, extra care is needed as they are small and break if to much pressure is used Never broke any of the larger sizes

I needed these to drill through mild steel (T-bar fence posts). I think I managed about 5 holes per drill bit before each was too blunted to cut. I needed to research the technique: low RPM, lots of pressure and lubrication. Fortunately I needed to drill only about 20 holes in total, so I have used 5 out of the 10 bits so far. I am told that this is probably about what can be expected from cheap bits so I am pretty happy with the purchase.
