WALL STREET JOURNAL BESTSELLER! IF YOU'RE IN SALES, FEAR HAS COST YOU MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, AND THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU. Fear is the reason most salespeople don't like to pick up the phone (salespeople average just four hours per week on the phone, and our job is to talk to humans!). Fear is the reason we don't ask for the business more, even though our customers want to buy from us. Fear is the reason we don't offer our customers additional products and services, even though they would love to buy more from us. This book deals with that fear. You will learn exactly how to overcome this destructive fear in sales, and replace it with confidence, optimism, gratitude, joy, and proactive sales work. These are the powerful principles in the new field of positive psychology which are transforming how we work and succeed. Selling Boldly is the first book that leverages positive psychology to help you sell more. You'll also learn a series of fast, simple sales-growth techniques―like how to add on to existing orders; and how to close 20% more quotes and proposals instantly; and how to properly ask for and receive referrals―that will grow your sales…dramatically and quickly. Alex Goldfayn's clients grow their sales by 10-20% annually, every year, as long as they apply his simple approaches. YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO DO I am not going to teach you much in this book that you don't already know. You're a professional salesperson. You do this for a living. You know , for example, that testimonials and referrals are among the best ways we have to grow sales, right? But do you ask for them enough? Most people don't. You know that calling a customer on the phone is more effective than emailing her, but you still often revert to email. You know your customers buy other products and services that you can help them with, but you don't ask them about these products. You’d like to help them, and they would like more of your help ― that is why they've been with you for five or ten or twenty years ― but nevertheless we don't ask them. There is a difference between knowing what to do, and actually doing it. I know you know. With Selling Boldly, we start to do what we already know . We will cover what keeps us from doing these things (fear), how to overcome it (by listening to your happy customers), and how to implement these simple but powerful sales growth techniques (by briefly planning them, also doing them). Because sales growth comes from doing, not knowing. Today, we start doing. And growing. These approaches are laid out in this book, in precise detail, for you to implement in your own work. Alex doesn't hold anything back in this manual for selling more. What's the secret to selling more? There is no secret. There is no magic bullet. There is only the work. There are only the mindsets, and the communications. In Selling Boldly , Alex teaches readers how to attain these mindsets, and how to implement these communications, so that sales have no choice but to grow! Review: If you want to improve your sales skills there is no better book. Period. - I have read a lot of books and have been through almost every sales training on earth (Personal Power, Solution Selling, Zig Ziglar, etc. etc.). The FRESH perspectives from this book along with practical guides to use what you learn makes this book a standout in an sales industry filled with 'also ran' concepts that don't work in the real world. What Alex teaches you in this book works and is what it takes to find success in today's business world. If you follow what he teaches you will increase your sales, better your customer relationships and most importantly improve your quality of life. More sales, equals more money, which equals a better life. Thank you Alex - this book is a home-run! Review: Unlike what Chuck D said, you SHOULD believe the hype. - I've had the opportunity to see Alex deliver a presentation around the topic of this book and speak with him directly on a few occasions - I can tell you first-hand that he knows what he is talking about, and that the processes and ideas in this book actually work! The book itself is accessible and full of "ah-hah" moments (and the occasional forehead slap when you ask yourself "why am I not doing this"). If you want to actively build your sales acumen and take your business to the next-level, you need to add this book to your quick reference shelf. It's direct, it's easy to share and communicate amongst a sales team, and if you implement the ideas and processes - it will work.

Great Ideas and very useful tools for selling more and taking GREAT care of your customers.
Alex Goldfayn has moved the needle (again) on helping individuals and sales teams raise sales by addressing the complete cycle of the Customer Experience, particularly the challenges of "before the sale" and after sales follow-up to remain in your customers' hearts and minds. The planners that are available for download are extremely helpful in setting up a system that goes beyond, "Plan your work, work your plan." Our culture spends far too much in arguments about "deficits" or "What can be better" with too little time to evaluate our gifts, skills, and talents, really wanted by organizations that need our help. His ideas were confirming (Chapter 27 "Tell Your Customers What Else They Can Buy From You" and Chapter 33 "The Power of Handwritten Notes") and sometimes challenging (Chapter 13 "Value and Relationships versus Products and Services" and Chapter 15 "Making it Look Easy versus Laboring").

Simple. Helpful.
Per page 3, the executive summary of this book are:- Step 1: know how good you are so that you gain confidence, positivity, and boldness. Step 2: communicate with customers and prospects more, because the more we communicate, the more we sell. Simple, right?! But it’s definitely not easy. Thanks to the author, he had made superb elaboration on the dichotomy of “Selling Boldly” vs “Selling Fearfully”. His emphasis on “doing more of what’s right” and “talking more to happy customers” are unique in a sea of sales books which focus on “fixing what’s wrong”. With the free download of the sales planner, it is helpful even to those who had read many of the same genre. In short, recommended. p.s. Below please find some favorite passages of mine fyi. Dogs that were shocked on a regular schedule would try to escape the shocks, but dogs that received shocks irregularly, randomly, would simply lie down and stop trying to avoid them. – Learned Helplessness, Martin Seligman pg25 When we are bold, we ask a question and remain silent until the customer answers it….When you are meek, you don’t ask them for the yes. But you work hard to avoid the no. Pg76

Shockingly simple...so why aren't you doing it?
The best part about this book is that every suggestion made by the author is something you already have the power to do. As Alex points out repeatedly throughout the book, using the science of positive psychology, you can dramatically improve your sales, regardless of what you're selling or who you're selling to. I would go so far as to suggest that applying even just one of the many tips provided in the book will increase your sales. Apply three or four and you'll be doing gangbusters. Easy to read and easy to apply, you'll find yourself shaking your head and saying to yourself "Why haven't I been doing this all along?" Don't wait another day; buy a copy for yourself and your whole sales team!

Perspective shift
This is the second book I have read from Alex Goldfayn and I have been a regular subscriber to his weekly ezine for about 5 years now. Once again, in this book he has helped me regain perspective on professional selling. After 33 years in this role and grateful for the many successes I have enjoyed in serving customers, I had lost my way over the past few years and had allowed fear to overtake me in many ways. Selling Boldly provides a reminder that I can and do provide value to my customers and blueprint for regaining the proper mindset for success.

More Than A Sales Book
I was recommended to read Selling Boldly from a business connection. Not only did a learn so much about sales, but I also learned about business and personal development. Alex’s book is easy to read and even easier to implement. My favourite chapter was the 10 Critical Mindshifts for Dramatic Sales Growth. The pages on My Children’s Trees were my favourite part of the book; storytelling, emotion and persistence at its best. Buy this book now
