Instant Sun Mousse

I was pleasantly surprised. Goes on nicely with a mitt. Haven't tried it with my hand yet. I was a little disappointed that they show two bottles in every picture and you only receive one. It's a little misleading. I did not mind the slight scent at all. I experienced no streaks or blockiness. And did not notice any orange- just a subtle tan. At first I thought I would be disappointed that I ordered light bronze and thought about returning it but after trying it, the color was nice and continued to darken throughout the day. I put a spot of it on my inner arm and noticed it darkening and it did not wash off in the shower. Even after three days. I bought this mainly for my face because I get so pale in the winter.

I am a fair girl raised in Southern California- and I hate self tanner. It’s been a hard life. Until now. Last year I spent $$$ on a custom self tanner you’ve heard of that was super stinky and wasn’t even great, only to forget it in my hotel room in Mexico. Now, 2025 and going to Cabo. What to do? For $10 I tried this. It’s FABU! Seriously no smell and a beautiful color that doesn’t peel or pebble like most self tanners. And I forgot to exfoliate prior. It’s all around wonderful. Used on face and everywhere else. I recommend adding one of the generic applicator kits, the foam application pads make all the difference. I even layered it on the old tanner with no adverse results. Give it a go!

I tried the Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Body Mousse – Ultra Deep Bronze and it quickly became my favorite go-to for a sun-kissed look. It’s super easy to apply — dries in about a minute and leaves a soft, lightweight feel on the skin. The color develops naturally over a few hours and looks like a genuine tan, not the telltale orange of cheaper tanners. What I love most is the scent — it’s light and pleasant, not that fake tanner smell you usually expect. My tan lasts several days, though it does fade after a few showers. For best results, I dry-brush and lightly moisturize before application, and use a mitt to prevent darker spots around knees and elbows. It’s affordable, easy to use, and gives consistent, streak-free color — I’ll definitely keep a bottle on hand for summer vibes all year round!

Works well and is low cost. Can be a bit orange, but if applied right, looks fine.

As a pale girlie I’ve tried several expensive self tanners to give myself a glow. Somehow I always come back to this one. Jergen’s is solid & has been around forever for a reason. It’s just that good and reliable at a reasonable price. This foaming tanner has more of a bronze, reddish warm base than cool toned brown or blue which ends up looking natural for my skin type. I apply evenly with a mit. I usually sleep in it (it has gotten on my white sheets but usually washes out) and rinse my first rinse without soap to maintain the color. I would have to reapply every 3-4 days to keep the color built up.

Sooo I wasn't sure how to rate the product. The application was super easy, I used latex gloves and rubbed it on like lotion after I exfoliated in the shower. It didn't streak at all. I left it on overnight and washed it off the next morning. The smell does linger a bit, but the color looks amazing. I'm usually really pale and my legs get purple from poor circulation, however I used Deep Bronze and it gave me an awesome bronze tan glow. I loved the color. Problem is I applied it from head to toe and ended up in the hospital twice within a week with severe symptoms. Horrible stomach pains where I can barely moved. Nausea and severe indigestion. Found out I'm allergic to the ingredients. Had multiple images done CT Scan, Ultrasound, Labwork, etc. Seriously twice in one week going to the hospital in tears and shaking from the stomach pains. They thought it was a ovarian torsion or maybe appendicitis, but no. I'm giving this 3 stars, because although it works, there should be warnings all over the place about allergic reactions. Upon doing more research after the last hospital visit, I have found soooo many other people who have had the same issues from self tanning products because it's absorbed into the body and can affect the liver and digestive system. Just be careful y'all.

Great tanner. very subtle and lasts a while. I mainly use to cover up vitiligo spots on my leg and it makes them less noticeable and the color is great. I've noticed no transfer when letting it properly set. I apply it with a brush for more precise application and lasts me a few days. Great for hot summer when wearing shorts.

Fast drying. No streaks. Can use any time. Color is true and moisturing. Need to apply with gloves.
