He would ask endless questions about Minecraft that I couldn't answer. This has helped so much. It also has helped with the coding game to understand what Minecraft world is about so when he is building he knows what things are. It also has helped him continue to learn how to read since he is so enthralled in the book. The pictures with the details make it easy for a youngster to understand even without reading at the level the book is written for. 10/10 best birthday gift he got. We also got the Minecraft encyclopedia, amazing as well. The 2 together are a mental fortress for all things Minecraft. He was so obsessed and wouldn't stop talking about Minecraft. This helped to curb the appetite for the real action game.

Great book for the younger kids!

Helpful for this gramdmom
We don't live close to our grandchildren, so I was looking for a way to connect with them. Minecraft seemed to be something they greatly enjoy. Not being any good at computer games, I knew I'd be needing a resource that slowly and in a detailed fashion helped me learn to play. This book comes very close to being perfect. It does explain some things in detail, but some of the3 steps still leave me a tad confused. That could be that I am starting with no background in games like this. I did glean enough to get the game up and working and I could cut down trees! When I played remotely with our grandchildren, they were able to help me more and we all had a wonderful time laughing and playing.

Slightly damaged but still acceptable
Top right corner on front of book was damaged and torn. Still gave it to my daughter because it was so close to Christmas, she didn’t care.
