I wanted a small airtight container to store sugar on my countertop to use in my morning coffee. I had been using an old fashioned jam jar with a wire pressure closure but I shattered the lid and couldn't find a similar jar. This is much better than a sugar bowl that comes with dish sets as they are not air tight and in the humid weather the sugar gets very sticky and clumped together. Mine has a lighter color lid than shown in the pictures, but its attractive, the glass is reasonably thick and the seal is good. Just the right size to put in a bit over a cup of sugar which lasts me quire a couple of weeks, and it's easy to pick up with one hand.

I love this little container. It's glass, which is a plus! It is the perfect size for my loose leaf tea and keeps it fresh for a while. The seal has held up well for the year I have had it.

I love the overall design of the jar, and the bamboo lid is beautiful!! It looks great in my kitchen and I’m going to have to purchase more to store things all over my house now! Lol! it stays pretty airtight, but I wonder with prolonged use if the rubber seal will hold up. No complaints so far!!

The glass is thicker than most other glass storage containers purchased, seals airtight and extremely well - you need two hands to remove the lid. I would recommend this without hesitation!

I just love this jar! I use mine for augar for my tea and it is really cute!

It's a nice looking glass container, I put tea leaves and coffee in mine by my coffee station for display, and to keep it handy for use.

Jar lid was missing the crucial seal - so it's not air-tight and completely useless for storing coffee/salt, as I had intended. Massive fail.
