Generally, I'm a fan of Bosch products and decided to try this "premium" cabin air filter for my MINI Countryman. In short, this product is very disappointing. It doesn't flex very well to match the "S" shape curve needed for installing. The air flow seems restricted as others have mentioned. Most importantly, after installing this filter, the air inside the car stinks and smells of car exhaust fumes. I've since replaced it with a carbon activated filter (#4436) from Mann, which works very well.

The 2nd Gen mini cooper requires the cabin air filter to slide into an S-shaped track in the housing. The standard filter will flex to properly fit this. This Bosch filter is too stiff and buckles as you slide it in, leaving big gaps where air can bypass the filter. There's no way around this: it just does not fit or work properly in this car.

Fit well in my 2010 MINI. It is long and skinny (as it should be) not rectangular as the stock photo shows it. I replace my filters every year after allergy season to try and avoid having the captured pollen and dust slowly leak into the car...
