Love this hair looks amazing! Easy application process, not a very harsh smell, no burning etc. Colour looks great.

After having my hair cut short and dyed blonde last year, it is now growing out and was starting to look messy, especially with the lingering blonde bits on the ends. My hair is a light brown naturally with salt and pepper greys. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the reviews, for example not covering greys and being too dark. The coverage was really even. It has ended up a lovely dark brown although it was meant to be light brown. It’s covered up all my greys and blonde remnants and looks in great condition. Can’t comment on longevity as I’ve only just done it, but I would buy it again. These two photos were only taken one day apart. For some reason my hair looks longer! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the colour is much darker than advertised. But that’s not to say I don’t like it.

I’ve been trying to grow my bleached blonde hair out, after 40ish years of colouring my hair has gone so frizzy. I bought this colour (medium cool blond) to blend my blonde dyed hair with my natural roots. It’s working a treat, my new roots which are about 3 inches is so soft and shiny so goes to show this isn’t harmful to your hair whatsoever. The colour turns out darker than the picture but that’s what I wanted as I know eventually it fades to the exact colour so lasts long enough that I only need to re-colour after about 6 weeks of washing my hair twice a week. Definitely would recommend and I’ll be using it for a long time til my colour is completely out.

Its a beautiful colour, and worked perfectly on my bleaches pale yellow hair, and left it like silk, but it doesnt cover grey or white, which is a real shame as I love the colour x

Don’t believe the other reviews I gave this a try because it was gentler than the permanent hair dyes and I was very pleasantly surprised, but it does actually cover the greys! It was actually one of the famous AI apps that suggested this to me because previously I have stacked hair dyes that have led to my brown becoming black but it suggested this because it’s gentler and semi permanent and will not progressively turn the hair darker and darker. Not only was I pleased that it covered the greys but it’s left it super shiny and soft. I’ve come straight on to do a subscribe and save every eight weeks and I’m thrilled that I have found one so suitable for my needs.

I tried Clairol Natural Instincts in shade 8A Medium Cool Blonde, mainly because it’s ammonia-free and marketed as a gentle semi permanent dye. The packaging included gloves, colourant, developer and conditioner all clearly labelled and easy to use.Application was simple, no harsh smell, and the conditioner left my hair feeling soft afterwards. However, the colour change was minimal. On lighter strands I noticed a slight cool tone, but overall my hair didn’t shift much in shade. For a product that should refresh or tone blonde hair, the effect felt too subtle.It might work as a quick gloss for adding shine or slightly toning down warmth, but if you’re expecting a visible colour transformation, this shade doesn’t deliver strongly.
