affordable, durable, compatible. I am using these on a speaker formula, as I cannot afford what I desire. My project starts with cv ls-10 crossovers, American acoustic cabs, 3 way. I am converting with these subwoofers, xp-104 5' sealed midrange, peerless silk domes. I have tried to match perimeters to best of my ability, for the conversion. my decibels are still not exact, but close. my resistance is not exact but close. my total investment. cabs, 40.00, mids 22.00, subs 47.00, tweeters 36.00, crossovers 22.00, For a 167.00 investment and labor, compared to a thousand dollar investment, I think that I have done very well. oh they measured 3.6, even on both. I know my methods to all the professional are primitive, as I do not have the complex mathematical skills that are required. I have done a ton of specification, and perimeter research. All I can do now is work with the haas effect. I am going 4 ohm sub, 4 ohm mid, 6.4 tweet, with cv crossovers. this will be a home setup. I am looking for a setup that wont put a load on amplifier, but will achieve sonic linearity, with solid bass. Went 8 ohms in past did not work for me. Like low volume, with high output. thank you also amazon, for the excellent service. They were double boxed together, with excellent packing. you have made this affordable for me, so I can continue my project. thank you again.

I put these in Peavey stereo chorus to replace the black-widows to reduce weight. They seem to be up to the task and sound fine.

This sub KICKS for what it is it does the job perfect. As long as you don’t push too much threw it it sounds great and hits hard. I built a box to the suggested dimensions and it sounds wonderful especially for the price. You simply can not beat this deal if you’re looking for a cheap sub to bump just the right amount you’re looking at the right sub.

This product produces great sound for about 2 weeks. I have a 1000W RMS amp powering (2) 800w subs and they literally lasted about 2 weeks. Barely turned the dial up and they cut out. I look and the adhesive on the cone has separated. Better off buying a speaker a little more expensive

Good subs for the price. I will say I followed instructions and still blew the sub though, so, they are more suited for an average system. But, Amazon was great switching them out.

I bought a new amp to match this sub at 400 watts rms. My amp puts out about 380 watts at 4ohm. This subwoofer cannot handle all 380 watts, but can get close. Probably more along the lines of 300 watts, but still a fantastic subwoofer. Sounds great, and hits very hard for $25. The 12inch sub is incredible quality for the price.

Great subs for the price not a lot of excursion not too much power don't see how they can handle 800 watts pushing 450 and sound great. 1.8 ohms in parallel. Great for what they are. These aren't RF's or sundown's don't fool yourself u cheap o's

Wow ..have an old Sony entertainment center that sony does not make the speakers for anymore..needed some 12inch subs to bring it back to life . Sound storm came through..just wanted something economical incase system was too old ...old twelves were blown so I put these in . Best 50$ ever spent..resurrected my system and my neighbors hate me now ..thank you sound storm.

I bought the SSL amp 800watt and decide to bought the same company subwoofer(800 watt). Terrible idea the subwoofer already broken, coil inside fully destroyed. Very low quality subwoofer

I replaced a set if 12" woofers in my nsm jukebox. They fit great and sound awesome.

Great quality for the price. Hits pretty hard... even tho im putting way less watts then recommended. Very nice design, looks nice. Only issue is Amazon won't let me purchase a matching set of 2 from them. I'm limited to only buy only one per household. Not a good policy... the limit should be 2 per household. Even the amazon representative on the phone said to set up another account to order another one,,, so I did. They immediately canceled my 2nd order. So I'm stuck with just one. Oh well... makes since right? WTF? Amazon?
