Works perfectly, but hard to unplug.
I picked this up a couple months ago or so to connect my PS3 directly to my DSL Modem, which is tucked into a far corner of my house. The speed is the same, if not better, than any other ethernet cable I have used. No strange drops or loss of connection unlike my Wireless Adapter, which is basically only suitable for my laptop. The plastic is tough and hard, which is a plus for me, as it often runs under doors and across hallways. Unfortunately, that same plastic makes it very difficult for the cable to unwind, but it ALWAYS easily winds back up into compact loops of cable :)The plugs are tough and durable, too, and do not wiggle or loosen at all for a loss of connection. But the plastic again makes a distasteful comeback as a raised "flap" or "lip" that covers the release tab on the plug. The hard plastic makes it downright painful, not to mention awkward, to release the plug from my PS3's female connector.Everything considered, the tough plastic is a must for me, as every other "soft" plastic Ethernet cable I've had has had the release tab on the plug broken, despite the same protective "flap" as the RiteAV cable.A full 5 outa 5.

Good price, good network cat6 cable
It is in my finished basement which had no finish at the time. Originally purchased just to reach my computer in the unfinished basement. Now that I have finished the entire basement it resides hidden in the wall. I cut the ends off so I could connect the cable to a finished wall plate with a recessed Ethernet port to hook a short short Ethernet cable to the computer. The Internet modem / router is now downstairs too but the cable leads to a smart TV upstairs and another piece of the cable leads to a smart TV in the basement family room. Anyway its hidden and works great even after I cut the ends off to hook it to a couple of Ethernet ports in a finished wall plate. Cheaper than buying cable without the ends but that was probably what I would have done had I not had this on hand anyway. Looks like same quality as the bulk cable for the purpose of going behind walls.

Great Snagless Cat 6 Ethernet Cable
I bought this ethernet cable to connect my internet modem and router for my computer which are always either side by side or one laying on top of the other. One of the plastic clips broke on one end and naturally it wouldn't stay in. The one I had was a regular Cat 5 or Cat 5e that was not clip snag free and was 3 ft long which was way too long for two boxes next to each and it was always getting tangled with the other modem, router, and computer wires. I decided to get as small an ethernet cable as I could get this time, and was glad to find 1 ft ones here on Amazon. I was not looking to buy a Cat 6 (way overkill for use) or a snag free one (major pain to pull out), but this one was the best value of the 1 ft ethernet cables at the time of this review. I was additionally hesitant none the less on getting this, because the most recent review below me said he didn't get the actual product in the picture from the seller. Well the one I got looks exactly like the picture. It also as a bonus is a snag free end ethernet cable (which is not in the product title or description) which usually costs more. It also is not one of the major pain to get out snag free ethernet cables I hate. The plastic tab to prevent the plactic clip from getting snagged and snapped is actually soft and flexible enough to still be able to depress the plastic clip to release the ethernet cable. The product works great and notice an improvement in the devices. Product came quick from seller.

Good cable, but some things to note.
This cable simply works--plug it in and you'll be connected. But there were a few things that I noted almost immediately. It was delivered coiled up in a bag, placed in a box, and shipped from Cmple.com, Inc. This wasn't an issue though, but the first major thing I noticed when I pulled the cable from the package was that it wasn't the same color as the cable in the images on Amazon. It was a darker shade of blue; this was also noted in another review for this product. Now, I'm not nit picky over what color my cables are, but the fact that this cable was a different color made me think there was a switch somewhere when they shipped it. Also, the connectors on the cable I received were not the same as the ones pictured. A little disappointing but regardless, this product was cheap and it worked fine, so I'm not as concerned.Unplugging it from a computer is not an issue at all--it's easy to unplug. This is good for the college student that needs to move their laptop around a lot, or a person that likes moving around computers in their home network. It's a lot cheaper than many other expensive 25 ft. cables you find in stores, and it performs just as well as them too. The connector also fits firmly in my laptop's Ethernet port, and it doesn't feel flimsy or loose at all.Overall, I do recommend this product if you want to have an up-to-date, wired connection to the Internet. Although I did not receive what was pictured, the performance of the product definitely makes up for the disappointments.

Cat 6? Maybe?
Bandwidth precedes data rates just as highways come before traffic. Doubling the bandwidth is like adding twice the number of lanes on a highway. The general difference between category 5e and category 6 is in the transmission performance, and extension of the available bandwidth for 100 MHz for category 5e to 200 MHz for category 6. Category 6a (or Augmented Category 6) is defined at frequencies up to 500 MHz--twice that of Cat.Great price for 100 footer. I cut it into smaller lengths but the ends it came with looked durable. It was easy to work with compared to some other twisted pair cable that I have used in the past. The pictured product shows a cable that has the rating written on it. The cable I received is a darker blue and does not have any sort of marking on it. This is the first time that I have ever come across a cat5 or cat6 cable with nothing written on the sheath. If you are going to run this cable between walls or any other place it is difficult to run wires or access I would not purchase this cable for two reasons. One, you should be purchasing cat6a not cat6. Two, because there is no indication on the cable itself the chance exists that it is not actually cat6 at all.

This is a great deal!
I've bought many Ethernet cables before, and most had connector problems at the ends, where you couldn't pull them back out of your pc without snapping the pins for some strange reason. This one has no such problems! It works fantastic!Cable is nice and thick and is ten feet long, which allows you to run it to your modem from your desk without shortage of length. Overall great buy!

Good product
To avoid the amount of rolled up cables under the desk, we needed a short ethernet cable. RiteAV 3ft is doing the job. It is perfect for the purpose.

cable is fine
Wiring my internet connection has made a great difference in the speed of downloads and uploads. More choice in colour would have helped the wire to blend better in my room.

a short skipping rope
They say you get what you pay for, i paid very little, i got...........very little. This cable started out okay for a few months, then one day i plug it in, and nothing, no connection. I tried another cable that i know worked and sure enough connection. For the 1 month this cable lasted it was good, now it is a 3ft skipping rope.
