this is my second one of these. the first one lasted almost 5 years. so pretty and handy for opening all my scores of amazon boxes! : )

Not very sturdy
I was disappointed in this product. I was looking forward to having a "girlie" box cutter. It is pretty, however, it isn't very sturdy. The blade slides back into the handle when using it to cut cardboard.

Looks nice, but not very reliable
I bought this for work. As a grocery dept manager, Iโm in charge of working six weekly deliveries, maybe 100-150 cases a week. This box cutter was purchased 9/16; it failed to work several times since day one, causing me to have to disassemble and reassemble it each time. Today, it failed and was not recoverable. Itโs in the trash. As pretty as it is, I really need something that will last longer than a month or so.
