Mini Incandescent 2-Cell AAA Flashlight in Presentation Box, Gray

I really like this little light. It's incredibly lightweight and seems pretty rugged for how small it is. It's not the brightest, but I didn't expect it to be given the compact size. Could be carried in a pants pocket and it's weight is barely noticeable. I also like that the beam can be focused to a small circle or widened out to illuminate a large area. Would recommend.

I was looking for an incandescent flash light for use in a homeschool group to teach about light colors, refraction, etc. Most flashlights are those LED bright lights and you can't get those LED lights to split up into the rainbow colors. These little flashlights worked perfectly. All children were able to refract the light from these flashlights and see the rainbow colors. They are small and the light is warmer than the LEDs. It comes with a case so that you can keep the batteries in the case right next to the light when needed. I'm glad to have found this little incandescent light.

I had one just like this before and it was amazing, that's why I bought it. I don't know if they don't make them like they used to or if I was just unlucky, but this one barely lights up and it's really a shame. I love this little flashlight. It's not an LED bulb, and that's OK with me since my experience with MAGLITE's LED models has been less-than-perfect. This flashlight is tiny and fits perfectly on the hip in Leatherman's hybrid nylon/leather sheathes. I keep mine paired with my Leatherman Surge. Makes for a handy kit and the light is plenty bright for working on stuff up close.

This flashlight fits into a nylon Leatherman belt holster that also holds my Leatherman Wave multi-tool. These tools are indispensible to me in my daily routine. I am constantly under desks looking to connect components, to inspect PC towers, or to check wiring connections as an IT professional. It is wonderful to have a strong, high performance flashlight like the Mini Maglite right at my side. I seldom leave home without it. The adjustable beam focus is important to me as I may need a broad beam to see my way down a dark path, or a concentrated beam to see details of lettering on CPU chips on the motherboard of a CPU system sitting on the ground under a desk or table. This is a replacement for another Mini MagLite that was unable to continue lighting up because of a problem in the tail piece of the flashlight. I have found it important to not disturb the spring loaded in the tail piece as it has caused the failure of several of these lights in the past..... wish MagLite would redesign the extra spare lamp holder differently so that it wasn't so difficult to get lamp working after changing out the bulbs.

It's not super bright due to it's size, but I keep them in my garage and junk drawers. They always come in handy.

Nice looking but probably not good for real use. I thought it was gonna be at least usable but IMO super dim.
