Can you use this for grocery items if you are on crutches?

Light items would be okay. I don't think I would plan on a heavy load.

What are the actual measurements of the unfolded bag?

Can’t tell you because I threw it away. Everything inside it was ruined when I walked back from class in the rain. Definitely lightweight but NOT water resistant let alone waterproof

Would this hold a large waterbottle (30 oz)in the side pocket?

It may but I would not recommend this product. The inside pocket ripped out after 3 days of travel and I was unable to return it because it was beyond 30 days. I never received a response from the seller.

What outer pockets does this item have and size?

Two 8”x8” pockets and two side net pockets
