Hobby Boss Quality
This is the second kit I've assembled from Hobby Boss. In both kits, especially this one, the detail, fit, and finish were superb. I teach at Penn State on military matters and have researched almost all Luftwaffe aircraft with attention to the technical breakthrough machines such as the ME-262A and the casting detail of this model was top drawer. The designers of the kit even went to the effort of providing a weighted nose gear enclosure to allow to completed model to stand properly on its tricycle landing gear. Recommended.

Why is the box open? Kit looks cool!
The kit looks cool, however I don’t like receiving items that have been opened. Either it was not mentioned or I missed it.However the kit looks in good shape and the box art is a bit roughed up.
